The Role: The Material Launch Coordinator will be the point person for all material related launch activities. The individual selected for this position must be capable of working with little direction and will collaborate with all levels of a cross functional team to drive launch execution. This is an hourly people leader position, responsible for supervising core team members and will coordinate the activities of the material launch core team. Key deliverables will be to develop and execute all phases of Lean Material Systems to create the most efficient and lean material process, support steady state improvements, implement best practices and mange pilot build events. What You'll Do: Lead launch activities with support from the Material Launch Manager (MLM), Plant Launch Operations Manager (PLOM), Vehicle Systems Lead and other plant personnel. Support development of the material plan for concurrent builds.
