Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Quality Control & Compliance Oversee and audit warehouse processes including receiving, picking, and shipping to ensure quality standards are met. Inspect materials for compliance with specifications and take corrective action when discrepancies are found. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve scheduling reliability. Investigate quality issues, implement corrective measures, and prevent recurrence through root cause analysis. Inventory & Data Management Execute inventory transactions, including adjustments, cycle counts, RMAs, and processing of non-conforming materials. Maintain accurate system data through material transfers, order updates, Oracle tracking, and routing workflows. Analyze inventory records, reconcile discrepancies, and generate reports to support operational accuracy. Ensure real-time tracking of material locations and production status through diligent recordkeeping. Material Handling & Workflow Coordination Plan and coordinate the movement of materials and parts to maintain inventory flow and meet production needs. Monitor interdepartmental material transfers and optimize handling processes to reduce delays. Assist with material transport as needed to support daily warehouse functions. Communication & Reporting Provide timely updates on inventory status and operational activities to internal teams and customers. Document timekeeping and production data to support labor tracking and performance analysis. Leadership & Training Assign tasks and allocate resources to meet departmental goals in quality, safety, and efficiency. Lead special projects and coordinate departmental initiatives to support continuous improvement. Workplace Safety & Culture Promote and enforce a safe working environment by identifying risks and taking proactive corrective action. Foster a positive team culture centered on collaboration, respect, diversity, and accountability. Identify process gaps and provide actionable feedback for operational enhancements. Physical Demands Lift up to 50 lbs Push utility carts up to 60 lbs Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shift Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items around Will be exposed to an environment with variable temperatures Skills and Abilities Required: Deep understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control practices. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to evaluate warehouse processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical improvements to enhance workflow, accuracy, and productivity. Ability to communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; adept at data entry and report generation. Familiarity with barcode scanners, printers, and labeling equipment. Typing speed of at least 30 WPM. Experience working in ISO/TL 9000-certified environments. Solid math skills, including fractions, decimals, and basic arithmetic. Ability to obtain forklift certification within 60 days of hire; training is provided by company. Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 5 years of warehouse experience with a focus on inventory control. Minimum of 6 months' experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Training in safe lifting, handling, and transporting of varied materials. Education and Experience Required: Associate's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field.
