Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Schedules, Coordinates and Tracks both Domestic and International shipments.
* Ensures airlines and carriers are selected based on company objectives for cost and delivery.
* Maintains Shipping records, including providing tracking or shipping history information to customers on request.
* Prepares Shipping paperwork as well as completes shipping transaction in appropriate systems.
* Coordinates Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process with Customers.
* Overcome road blocks to ensure delivery is made in line with internal and external customers requirements.
* Supporting Variable Cost Productivity initiatives.
* Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
* Working cross-functionally with Manufacturing and Quality to identify improvement opportunities and implement successful changes.
* Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment as required.
* Perform logistics distribution duties in compliance with current GDP as per annual GDP Training and local procedures.
* Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
* Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
* Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Additional Quality Specific Goals:
* Proficient knowledge, understanding and leadership for International Trade Compliance, identify report and resolve any trade compliance issues
* Working knowledge of IATA and DOT regulations as it pertains to the transportation of radioactive materials
* Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain/Purchasing process procedures and work instructions and operates within them to ensure compliance to quality system
* Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records tied to product
Required Qualifications:

Team & Position Description:
We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our Shipping team. Job Purpose
The Industrial Logistics Intern will be responsible for supporting the logistics operations teams with analysis, data, and solutions to optimize material flows and system environments within CNH manufacturing facilities. Including support for KPI, identifying bottlenecks, modeling and analyzing routes, and supporting strategic decisions with data driven insights.
This internship role will support the team in these tasks with assisting in data reporting and preparation, as well as supporting in project work contributing to ongoing initiatives.

The role of the Logistics Specialist is to pick assemblies for capital/service jobs, manage inventory and process shipments for all jobs.
Pick material for job orders and service orders; checking out to the assembly floor.
Binning items for job orders, service and spare part orders by location.
Process shipments for all job orders, service orders, spare part orders and internal customer requests.
Maintain parts inventory, issue parts, and receive stock orders and returns.
Maintain/report stock levels (minimum).
Organize inventory count or perform cycle counts.
Help maintain enterprise resource planning (ERP) database and suggest efficiency improvements.
Adhere to International Standardization Organization (ISO) standards.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma required; associate degree in logistics or management is a plus.
Two (2) plus years in the inventory or shipping/receiving field.
A valid driver license; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus.
Able to work on a computer is necessary.
Familiar with shipping software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software a plus
Able to operate a fork lift, pack hardware and supplies, and operate scales.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

JOB TITLE: Logistics Specialist
TASK DESCRIPTION:
Supply Technician: This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work requires consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.
Assignments require:
(a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
Task Requirements:
Tool Room: The Contractor shall manage the Tool Room and ensure Tool Room services are performed IAW governing directives by ensuring all inspection standards are met. Tool room management includes:
Tool Room NAMP Programs: The Contractor shall be responsible for the Tool Control Program (acting as Tool Control Program Coordinator), Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program, Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) Program Coordinator, Support Equipment (SE) PMS Program and work center management IAW CNAF Instruction 4790.2.
Issue/Receive Tools, Equipment and Hazardous Material/Waste: The Contractor shall Order/Issue/Receive tools, inventory and maintain tools, and issue/receive/properly handle hazardous materials/waste per activity's Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and local governing directives.
Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Repairs, periodic maintenance and calibration of all Support Equipment (SE), IMRL, and calibration-required tools or GFE shall be performed at the appropriate level of maintenance. Base support equipment I-level facilities and calibration laboratories are available to provide I-level and Depot level support for GFE items. Repairs or periodic maintenance which is considered to be O-level in nature are required to be performed by the Contractor.
Material Control Services: The Contractor shall perform administrative duties in support of the units Material Control division. The Government will maintain overall responsibility and management of the Material Control Division to include execution of activity's Operational Target (OPTAR) and Aviation Fleet Maintenance (AFM) funding requirements. Contractor's support of the Material Control Division requirements includes:
Manage Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) and Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) Program requirements
Perform Tool Control Coordinator requirements
Order and receive aircraft parts and material.
Expediting repairable and consumable material requisitions through the supply system and informing Maintenance Control on status changes
Track and reconcile daily fuel expenditures
Prepare Transmittal Listings as required by TYCOM
Perform monthly and end of fiscal year financial close-out of fuel and flight gear expenditures
Produce monthly OPTAR report message to TYCOM
Maintain pack-up and pre-expended bin inventories
Maintain Flight Packet inventory
Produce daily Aircraft Material Readiness Report
Perform Hazardous Material Control and Management Supervisor functions
Other duties as assigned.

5 years current or previous experience in performing logistics/supply functions in a Naval Aviation environment to include but not limited to:

Maintain inventory databases and prepare reports and correspondence
Maintain financial logs and records
Operate computer systems that provide logistic support information
Manage inventories of repair parts/general supplies
