About the Role
The Warehouse Manager will lead all daily operations within our apparel warehouse, including receiving, bulk picking, packing, palletizing, shipping, and inventory control. Key responsibilities

What We're Looking For
4-7+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, including management or supervisory roles.
Experience in wholesale apparel or fashion distribution strongly preferred.
Knowledge of retailer routing guides and compliance standards (e.g., Macy's, Nordstrom, Kohl's, Saks, TJX, Burlington, etc.).
Strong understanding of apparel-specific requirements such as UPCs, size runs, prepacks, labeling, and carton accuracy.
Experience working with WMS and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with seasonal volume spikes.
Qualifications

Position Overview
Reporting to the Warehouse Director, the Inventory Manager is responsible for tracking inventory movements in our warehouse network ensuring that items are accurately recorded, tracked, and reported.
This role will operate primarily out of our Van Nuys Warehouse at 16333 Raymer St., Van Nuys, CA 91406 and our other facilities as needed. These include, but are not limited to, Baby2Baby HQ in Culver City and other locations in Santa Monica and South Gate, CA. This role is onsite 5 days a week, in both office and warehouse settings.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leads annual inventory audit count, collaborating with on-site teams at each location as well as Baby2Baby's accounting and auditing teams.
Works closely with the Warehouse Director to keep the warehouse management system accurate at all times.
Oversees the timely and accurate entry of inbound items, both donated and purchased, in the warehouse management system. Communicates with Warehouse Managers and inventory staff to track progress and identify problems.
Manages data entry personnel responsible for processing inventory purchases and stock transfers.
Analyzes warehouse stock levels and trends; communicates recommendations and/or concerns to the Warehouse Director and internal teams.
Leads frequent spot and partial audits and implements cycle counts of physical inventory; tracks aged inventory and monitors expiration dates.
Maintains weekly/monthly inventory records to share with management and other key stakeholders.

The Transportation Officer is responsible for the secure and safe transportation, guarding and escorting, of individuals from specified sites to designated points. Transportation Officers duties include, but are not limited to, armed transportation services, escorting individuals to and from transport vehicles, and monitoring in accordance with customer's standards. Transportation services entail over the road transport services, courtroom guarding, security services, and other related transportation and guard duties. The Transportation Officer is responsible for ensuring that the transportation vehicles are in safe and correct working order. The Transportation Officer is to ensure that they are in complete control of the transport vehicles at all times and that vehicles are operated in a safe and legal manner.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Inspect and prepare transportation vehicles for daily operation requirements; perform pre- and post-trip inspection of vehicles; fill out required paperwork to report any damage or defects
+ Conduct pat-down searches; ensure that individuals are properly secured prior to leaving a facility and while in a vehicle; ensure that all paperwork is obtained and completely accurately and thoroughly when obtaining individuals at a facility and delivering them to their appropriate destinations
+ Safe operation of vehicles; ensures that all safety and legal measures are followed at all times, including but not limited, to all application federal, state, municipal and organizational laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
**QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to meet and maintain any applicable licensing, including driver's license or certification requirements
+ California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Armed Security Guard License with a 40-caliber or 9mm endorsement

1. **Eligibility for Full Bonus ($9,000)** You will receive a one-time, non-recurring sign-on bonus of **$9,000** if you meet the following criteria:

3. Once you accept the offer, you will receive **50%** of the bonus upon your contract hire date, and the remaining **50%** will be paid after **90 days** of employment.

1. Possess an active clearance that can be transferred.

5. **Eligibility for Partial Bonus ($1,500)** If you have some of the required credentials but are missing certain elements (such as a clearance or specific certification), you will be eligible for a reduced sign-on bonus of **$1,500** . This would apply, for example, if you do not have an active clearance and still need to obtain an armed guard license.
6. As with the full bonus, **50%** will be paid upon contract hire, and the remaining **50%** will be paid after **90 days** of employment.
