The opportunity
In our Business Performance - Supply Chain - Manufacturing practice, we have an exclusive alliance with Procter & Gamble. As part of this Alliance, we license P&G's manufacturing “Integrated Work System” (IWS) intellectual property to clients, and help clients implement that “know‑how” into their organization to drive significant value. This particular Senior Manager role within EY will be initially dedicated to the “Pre‑Sales” and “Sales” process of building P&G Alliance related sales pipeline and supporting the conversion of sales.
Your key responsibilities
Build executive level “slip‑sheets” that concisely summarize P&G's Integrated Work System to support discussion
Research clients to understand operational and manufacturing challenges they are facing, and identify key ways P&G's IWS can address those challenges
Develop relationships with internal EY account executives and position the P&G Alliance as a differentiated solution to drive value for their client.
Working through account teams, secure and lead initial meetings with senior client executives (C‑suite, SVP, VP, Sr Directors) to position the P&G Alliance as a differentiated competitive advantage
Work closely with Manufacturing leadership team to support “next step” client workshops with key manufacturing stakeholders with the objective to identify tangible opportunities to help clients address a manufacturing challenge
Manage a portfolio of client leads and pipeline progression
Follow all Independence related restrictions (with reference to audit clients/non‑audit clients) as well as P&G competitor “no‑fly” lists.
Location and travel requirements will be discussed during the recruitment process.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify related transformation opportunities.
Skills and attributes for success
To thrive in this role, you will need a solid foundation in Business Performance with an emphasis on Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Your ability to lead and manage complex projects will be critical for success. Additionally, you should possess:
Proven experience operating in P&G's Integrated Work System (in industry or consulting).
Strong executive presence and experience interfacing with senior management

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $150,400 to $343,600. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $180,500 to $390,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Working in this high energy passionate team based in San Francisco Bay, you could join us as our Senior Supply Chain Manager and be part of a team determined to ensure no patient ever has to wait for an operation because our production stops due to supply chain reasons. It's a major issue -potentially cascading into cancelled installs, idle capital equipment, and disrupted patient care.
The surgeons rely on you and we rely on you to be the orchestrator ensuring seamless production of the surgical robot they work with daily.
The Role
The Senior Supply Chain Manager ensures every certified component, subsystem and part arrives exactly right,- on time, validated, and traceable - because one missing or imperfect part can ground a robot and delay care. These are precision robotic systems designed to extend the surgeons' capabilities and dexterity. You will be dealing with capital equiment, electronics, systems and disposables, part assemblies and sub assemblies. You must have experience in medical manufacturing and with these components.
This role is critical -It protects quality under fire, continuity under growth, and patient care under relentless operational demand. As deployment scales, the pressure multiplies. More assets in the field that must be supported, serviced, and replenished without interruption. The supply chain scales with precision, or fractures under its own success.
The Person
Reporting to the VP Operations , this position balances continous improvement and NPI. There is lots of room for growth in this fast expanding company.
You will identify, neogtiate and establishing relationships with new suppliers and manufacturers to accelerate progress and mitigate risks associated with new product or feature introductions. We have suppliers worldwide and ship across the US and Europe.
You'll be part of a team and also work closely with Quality, Operations, Finance, and Suppliers at the center of our manufacturing and field service organizations, ensuring the consistent availability of high quality inventory.
You are a key stakeholder in the architecture and introduction of new business systems supporting purchasing, material management, and logistics.
You'll balance activity between procurement and warehousing/logistics, addressing in your typical unruffled manner, a multitude of priorities;
Demand Planning, commercial and service forecasts, obsolescence and safety stock countermeasures
Optimizing inventory , supporting Operations with supplier issue resolution or nonconformances
Coordinating outbound deliveries in support of commercial placements
Sourcing, negotiating with and managing suppliers
You don't do micro-management. You're pretty autonomous and wear multiple hats in this startup environment; flexibility and adaptability are your norm.
Other skillsets include:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word) including light automation and process improvements
5+ years in supply chain management minimum
NPI and Sustaining Experience

DG, Hazmat, TSA Certification.
Knowledge of Incoterms.
Experience handling bonded freight and out-of-gauge or project cargo required.
A basic understanding of the fundamentals of warehouse and trucking operations required.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to respond to requests with urgency and take corrective action when problems arise.
Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising sound judgement.
Must be self-motivated, customer-service oriented, and eager to ensure the success of the team.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office required, CW1 preferred.
