Essential Functions

Maintains high quality standards in receiving and order fulfillment by regularly inspecting products, monitoring the daily performance of staff, and developing and maintaining standard operating procedures.
Manages the overall performance of the department by implementing and monitoring performance metrics.
Maintains a healthy flow of communication among teams and departments
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data management system.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to meet daily operational needs
Coaches and develops team by assessing skills, providing guidance, training, and positive leadership
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts to efficiently use space; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair or purchase of new equipment.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by adhering existing to and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Reconcile any mismatches between PO data and shipment contents, escalating issues to Buying/Production as needed.
Vendor & Internal Communication
Provide vendors with routing instructions, packaging requirements, and shipping guidelines.
Follow up with vendors on ship dates, delays, or missing documents.
Keep internal teams updated on shipment status, risks, and timeline changes affecting inventory availability or product launches.
Data & Systems Management
Maintain real-time shipment tracking logs or dashboards.
Update ERP or inventory systems with shipment statuses and receipt confirmations from the 3PL.
Analyze inbound performance and identify recurring issues with vendors or carriers.
Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills, and Education
1-3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or operations-ideally in apparel or consumer goods.
Experience working directly with a 3PL warehouse and freight forwarders/carriers.
Understanding of import logistics and Incoterms is a plus.
Strong knowledge of inbound logistics, transportation, and warehouse receiving within a 3PL environment.

Position Overview
Reporting to the Warehouse Director, the Inventory Manager is responsible for tracking inventory movements in our warehouse network ensuring that items are accurately recorded, tracked, and reported.
This role will operate primarily out of our Van Nuys Warehouse at 16333 Raymer St., Van Nuys, CA 91406 and our other facilities as needed. These include, but are not limited to, Baby2Baby HQ in Culver City and other locations in Santa Monica and South Gate, CA. This role is onsite 5 days a week, in both office and warehouse settings.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leads annual inventory audit count, collaborating with on-site teams at each location as well as Baby2Baby's accounting and auditing teams.
Works closely with the Warehouse Director to keep the warehouse management system accurate at all times.
Oversees the timely and accurate entry of inbound items, both donated and purchased, in the warehouse management system. Communicates with Warehouse Managers and inventory staff to track progress and identify problems.
Manages data entry personnel responsible for processing inventory purchases and stock transfers.
Analyzes warehouse stock levels and trends; communicates recommendations and/or concerns to the Warehouse Director and internal teams.
Leads frequent spot and partial audits and implements cycle counts of physical inventory; tracks aged inventory and monitors expiration dates.
Maintains weekly/monthly inventory records to share with management and other key stakeholders.
Identifies and reports inventory discrepancies to Warehouse Management. Develops solutions and preventative measures for inventory-related issues.
Provides clear verbal and written updates to the Head of Warehouse Operations.
Assists Warehouse Management with setting minimum stock levels.
Operates pallet jack and forklift when necessary.
Performs other related duties around the warehouse as requested.
On-site involvement at Baby2Baby events, distributions, etc. Some events may occur on the weekend.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of warehouse experience; bachelor's degree preferred.

* Sign-On Bonus Details
As part of your offer, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, subject to the following conditions:
* Eligibility for Full Bonus ($9,000)
You will receive a one-time, non-recurring sign-on bonus of $9,000 if you meet the following criteria:
* Possess all necessary credentials, including an active clearance that can be transferred.
* Once you accept the offer, you will receive 50% of the bonus upon your contract hire date, and the remaining 50% will be paid after 90 days of employment.
* Eligibility for Half Bonus ($5,000)
You will receive a one-time, non-recurring sign-on bonus of $5,000 if you meet the following criteria:
* Possess an active clearance that can be transferred.
* Once you accept the offer, you will receive 50% of the bonus upon your contract hire date, and the remaining 50% will be paid after 90 days of employment.
* Eligibility for Partial Bonus ($1,500)
If you have some of the required credentials but are missing certain elements (such as a clearance or specific certification), you will be eligible for a reduced sign-on bonus of $1,500. This would apply, for example, if you do not have an active clearance and still need to obtain an armed guard license.
* As with the full bonus, 50% will be paid upon contract hire, and the remaining 50% will be paid after 90 days of employment.

About the Role
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will oversee the full supply chain lifecycle, from sourcing and procurement to inventory planning, warehousing, and logistics. This leader will ensure products flow seamlessly from suppliers to our warehouse, retail stores, and ultimately to stylists and salons. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with experience balancing cost, speed, and quality in a consumer products environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and execute THS supply chain strategy that enables business growth, market expansion, and product availability.
With the Director of Operations, lead sourcing and procurement for manufacturing and finished goods, ensuring consistent quality standards.
Manage and develop a team of three direct reports.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships, with a focus on cost savings, reliability, and long-term partnerships.
Oversee demand planning and inventory optimization to meet the needs of our customers shopping through our retail stores, e-commerce, and field sales.
Manage logistics and distribution across company-owned warehouses, retail locations, Amazon, and other possible third-party partners. Own price/contract negotiations and vendor/service management.
Optimize technology and tools (Netsuite, Netstock, WMS) for visibility, forecasting, and reporting.
Track and report on KPIs such as inventory turns, fill rate, on-time delivery, and landed cost performance and manage department performance.
Identify and mitigate risks related to sourcing, transportation, and global supply disruptions.
Partner and collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, Marketing and Product Development to support launches, promotions, and expansion.
Qualifications
5-8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, ideally in beauty, CPG, or fashion/lifestyle brands.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
APICS/CPIM/CSCP certification strongly preferred.
Proven track record in procurement, global sourcing, logistics, and inventory planning.
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and supply chain platforms (WMS, TMS).
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with international suppliers.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-growing environment.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
