Qualifications:

The Role
To ensure efficient, smooth transportation and movement of material and finished goods at Kelvion campus at Catoosa Ok, and our customers domestically and abroad.
What you will be responsible for:
Planning, organizing, and overseeing the movement of goods and materials within a company
Monitoring and managing day-to-day logistics activities, such as scheduling deliveries and troubleshooting delivery issues.
Overseeing inventory control and ensuring the accuracy of all orders.
Negotiating contracts with carriers and suppliers.
Ensuring Health and safety regulations are followed.
Managing inventory and coordinating staff to meet business objectives
Enforcing operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Maintain accurate records and files on shipping documentation
Communicate with all Kelvion departments, trucking companies, customs brokers, carriers and others involved in the movement of material and shipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Safety
Safely and efficiently operate powered industrial lift trucks / equipment (PIT), and dock safety equipment inclusive of performing daily PM checklists and maintenance required on assigned equipment. Identify and report maintenance issues as they arise to warehouse supervisor.
Report any property damage, safety incidents (including near misses) or material damages immediately to your Supervisor / Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Quality
To ensure Kelvion's Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.
Will adhere to all quality requirements that are inside of the Quality Management system.
Understand and comply with all facets of the 5S and Safety Program.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overseeing the Quality Control Department in all aspects, i.e., supervisory, quality, maintenance, accountability, etc.
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
Language Skills: Fluent in English to read and comprehend written guidelines and instructions and perform basic verbal and written communication. Fluent in Spanish a plus.
Computer skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and ability to learn various functions assigned within the ERP (SAP or other) manufacturing system.
Communications Skills: Ability to receive, listen, and understand in-coming messages (Teams and Telecom), verbal, and written communication from Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, and Quality co-workers, outside transportation firms and supplier documentation.
Reasoning: Ability to apply general rules to determine resolutions of requests and be able to process numbers as needed to put away and pull material per transaction requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)
Valid driver's license and safe driving record
3-5 years prior experience in shipping, inventory control, material handling, and/or receiving in a manufacturing / factory environment preferred.
Must be able to safely and efficiently operate turret and stand up/reach forklifts in narrow aisle/locations safely and productively.
Basic math and reading skills.
