The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm What You Will Do: · Coordinate and oversee the movement of goods, from receiving raw materials to shipping finished products · Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to customers while managing logistics schedules and transportation resources · Work closely with production, customer service, suppliers, vendors, and customers to resolve any shipping, delivery, or inventory issues promptly · Manage inventory levels and collaborate with the production team to align supply with demand · Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns related to logistics and deliveries · Maintain clear and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations · Track shipments, prepare reports, and keep records of all logistics activities · Monitors time reporting for drivers · Verifies correctness of drivers DOT HOS Logs · May direct truck drivers and dedicated material handler forklift drivers · Coordinates maintenance and repair of company owned trucks and trailers · Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all logistics processes · Coordinate office and breakroom supplies, equipment, and other resources, ensuring they are always fully stocked and functional. · Performs any other functions and responsibilities as assigned Education & Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Prior shipping and receiving or logistics experience What You Bring: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer and employee inquiries with professionalism Fluent in the English language, both written and spoken. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with great attention to detail Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with other departments Ability to use simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools Knowledge of ERP System Knowledge of DOT regulations Physical Demands: Light to moderate physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and course manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level, and tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shift. Must be able to deal with stressful situations in a professional manner both in person and on the phone. Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
