Under the direction of the Printing Supervisor. The Sheeter Operator will run a BW Papersystems Econ Sheeter, ensuring the meeting of company quality and performance standards, customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
What you'll do as a SHEETER OPERATOR:
Set the slitter knives and sheet size
Perform Quality checks to make sure product is within specifiaction
Filling out proper paperwork and reading plate densities
Perform assigned maintenance activities according to departmental procedures
Complete special projects as assigned
Report equipment issues or job-related issues. Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

How much will you make?
We start our Warehouse Operators out around $14 per hour, but starting pay will vary by experience and your skill level is the biggest differentiator in pay. This is a second shift position working 5pm - 1:30 am. At times, overtime is mandatory and occasional weekend work is required.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct various types of tests, monitoring and sampling of the plant's wastewater system in order to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations.
• Assist DAF Operations Supervisor in the supervision and documentation of third-party contractors' activity and performance on the process equipment.
• Inspect equipment on a regular basis and analyze system data to determine the need for increased maintenance frequencies or improved maintenance procedures and safe work practices.
• Monitor operating conditions, meters and gauges consistently to ensure systems are functioning properly.
• Collect and test water and sewage samples, documenting and reporting test results as required by DAF Operations Supervisor.
• Record meter and gauge readings and operational data.
• Operate equipment to purify and clarify water or to process or dispose of sewage.
• Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds and other work areas.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); or equivalent experience.
