The Forklift Operator receives products for the day's production and transports materials safely and efficiently to the appropriate areas of the facility. The Forklift Operator also picks products from inventory as needed, adjusts on the computer, and adheres to all safety protocols.
Payrate: $19.75
Shifts:
1st Weekend Shifts 4:00am to 2:30pm
2nd Weekend Shifts 2:30pm to 1:00am
3rd Weekend Shifts 8:00pm to 6:30am
Responsibilities:
Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
Inspecting damages to vehicles.
Operating and managing technical equipment.
Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
Identifying workplace safety hazards.
Adhering to safety management standards.
Adhering to production schedules.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in cold temperatures
Must be able to understand and communicate in English (verbal and written)
Must have at least one year of prior Forklift experience with Raymond Band Lift Trucks: Stand Up Forklift, Standard Reach, Deep-Reach (Double), Order Picker, Walkie Electric Pallet Jack.
Valid Drivers License

Job Summary/Objective
The Hazardous Materials Warehouse Operator plays a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations while specializing in the safe handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials. This position involves managing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will spend at least half their time in warehouse operations, including operating warehouse equipment and maintaining accurate inventory records through barcode systems, while also handling specialized hazardous materials operations. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Warehouse will be the primary focus, with at least half the time spent with these responsibilities.
Prepare and load delivery trucks with accuracy and efficiency
Receive incoming products and stock inventory in designated locations
Monitor and manage inventory levels using barcode scanning systems
Provide customer assistance and support as needed
Perform routine site maintenance and ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly forklift inspections and maintenance in accordance with OSHA requirements
Safely handle and store hazardous materials, ensuring proper labeling, containment, and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards

Forklift Operators perform a combination of product handling and lift truck operating duties to stack, transport, and store work-in-process and finished goods. + Perform a safety lift truck inspection and battery check and report any equipment malfunctioning or damage to the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor. Change lift truck batteries and add water when necessary; keep record of time batteries are changed. Fill out lift truck status report.

+ Participate in physical inventory taking.
+ Keep each production line supplied with the proper knock down cases, dividers, pallets and when each pallet is full take that pallet to the warehouse for loading on the trailer; and takes unused cases and dividers back to the warehouse to the proper location.
+ On limited production, may assist in stock-handler duties or load trailers as needed.
+ Bring up hot glue cases to the mezzanine, brings color concentrate to the lines, replaces cold glue tote, removes excess cases from production floor, brings slip sheets to production floor, loads storage racks with gaylords, set up rework, set up units of product on hold for Q.C., relieves stock handlers, loads and unloads corrugated trailers, identifies good corrugated from the bad and isolates it.
+ Follow established forklift procedures and complete required safety and maintenance checklists
+ Follow established procedures for damaged finished goods and raw materials and report them on line driver report.
+ Communicate with supervisor regarding shift totals and machine totals reports and with other lift truck operators regarding any changes or problems that arise, including damaged materials, damaged skids, or low inventories.
+ Complete written documentation as required.
+ Assist in relieving downstream teammates for breaks and lunches.
+ Use forklift to move pallets of finished product to stretch wrap machines to stretch wrap them and to staging area after wrapping, or to specify warehouse location. Completes finished goods report or worksheet.
+ Maintain supplies of corrugated and other packaging supplies at each machine.
+ Visually inspect all completed pallets of product for quality and conformity to the packaging instructions to ensure quality at the source.
+ Limited travel may be required.

Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience. Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
