Your role and responsibilities
Receives incoming and ships outgoing materials, products or supplies accurately and promptly. Safely loads and unloads trucks, stores materials and moves material to area(s) needed throughout the facility. Verifies the quantity and description of materials received or shipped and checks against packing list, recording any discrepancies to help maintain accurate inventory levels and notifies Buyer of any discrepancies. Accurately places materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner. Performs inquiries and processes information using various computer business systems, including printing labels, processing shipments, material transfers, cycle count entering, scrap transactions. Responsible for physically checking inventory, writing up transactions and maintaining inventory accuracy levels to meet performance standards as established by management. Pulls material, assembles and fills orders for both internal and external customers. Maintains equipment, vehicles, and work areas in a safe, clean and orderly fashion. Disposes of trash, cardboard and scrap in appropriate containers. Performs daily/weekly 5S requirements. Assist Packout area as needed as well as performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the role
