Job Summary Under limited supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, responsible for providing logistics support including picking, packing, assembly, sorting, shipping, and receiving of orders to meet productivity and quality goals. Responsibilities * Unloads, receives, stores, packages, loads, and ships inventory items (e.g.Network gear, fiber cable, installation kit accessories, network system hardware, telephones and accessories for business telephony). * Completes all necessary receiving and shipping forms and checks them for accuracy. Tracks the movement of inventory items from the time items arrive to the warehouse to the time they are shipped. * Records daily movement of inventory through the warehouse. * Determines need for more inventory to meet shipping orders and places orders for more inventory as needed. * Participates in periodic warehouse inventory and cycle counts by making and verifying inventory counts as well as investigating discrepancies. The Forklift Operator/ Receiving Clerk will perform a variety of tasks including unloading, and receiving of all incoming materials, preparing items for movement/storage and operating electric powered industrial truck equipment to move products or materials. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Operate industrial equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) to handle materials, including lifting up to 40 feet. * Record warehouse transactions in inventory tracking software and complete necessary documentation. * Follow safety procedures and standard guidelines for assigned tasks. * Check incoming shipments against documentation, counts items, and reports damaged items. * Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), conducts MHE inspections for food safety, and participate in daily shift meetings to address goals and resolve issues.
