    We are seeking a Data Center Operations Subject Matter Expert that will be responsible for liaising between the service team owners that run the suite of AWS tools that enable our customers to leverage cloud technology in ways that no other company does and our Data Center Operations teams on the ground that care and feed the hardware that makes this possible. This candidate will be working on changing the face of Cloud technology in the region. This role is based in the National Capitol Region. As a Data Center Operations (DCO) Subject Matter Expert you will work as a force multiplier for the Operations team, whose primary responsibility is the running and maintaining of DCO projects, maintenance, and upkeep of the datacenter. Our ideal candidate possesses a natural curiosity, sharp analytical skills, a self-driven approach to identifying work and implementing solutions, and is excited to pioneer on behalf of customers. This role requires hands-on project management skills, deep technical expertise, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for collecting business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, working with other organizations to drive systemic issue resolution, liaising with service teams and driving project schedules. You will also be responsible for setting project management standards and delivering large, cross functional projects across the Amazon dedicated cloud environment. You will apply both business and technical acumen in a fast-paced, ambiguous and innovative environment. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
