POSITION SUMMARY

As a Forklift Operator, you will work to fully understand and perform forklift loader duties in outbound shipping and inbound receiving from the manufacturing department. You will perform a variety of tasks within our warehouse including loading and unloading trucks, case picking product and staging finished product as it is released from out packing area.
This position will work on 3rd shift (11pm-7am).
Retrieve packaged products from the packaging department wrapper area to load onto outbound trailers or on warehouse racks (put-away), as determined by product orders
Unload inbound product and raw materials from inbound trailers to go to outbound trailers or on racks for put-away
Perform pre and post-shift operational inspections on assigned forklift daily
Inspect trailers and product pallets prior to loading product onto trailers
Perform product inventory, bin consolidation, and case pick
Meet required efficiency targets based on operator level
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
6+ months of experience in a fast-paced and performance measured environment
Other
1+ year of forklift experience in production, manufacturing, military or related environment preferred

GARNEY CONSTRUCTION A Backfill Operator job in Henrico VA, is available through Garney Construction. To be considered for this position you must have previous construction experience. As an operator, you will operate machinery to perform activities such as excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final clean up. The Operator may perform functions of a laborer as required.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Backfilling the ditch properly after the pipe is laid.
* Do the backfill in a safe manner as part of a crew.
* Perform operator level maintenance on the machine.
* Move the trench boxes from the ditch.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Three to five years in construction experience operating a Cat 329 or bigger
* Utility work experience preferred.
* Firm Knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance.
* Must be willing to work overtime and travel.

Motor Coach operators transport clients in motor coaches throughout our market share. They provide smooth and timely transportation. Operators must conduct a pre- check and post-check of vehicles to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle. Applicants must have a CDL.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Driving and transporting clients
· Adhere to the Four Golden Moments of client contact.
· Welcome/Greet the client and discuss amenities.
· Confirm destination and preferred route.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Possess a high school certificate of graduation or its equivalent or a college degree. Having a valid CDL driver's license issued by Virginia or another state to drive the class of vehicle you will be operating. One year of operating a bus is required for this position.

· Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manual palletizing of up to 51 lb. bags
* Feed bags to bagger
* Feed bags to heat sealer
* Bulk tote loading
* Forklift and skid steer operation
* Stretch wrapping and stacking pallets
* Customer truck loading
* Ammonium sulfate and general cleaning and housekeeping
* Minor maintenance
* Train other operators as required

Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Proficiency with a computer, including programs such as word or excel

* Must be willing and able to work in a team environment
* Ability to lift and move objects that weigh up to 51 lbs., and exert up to 75 pounds pull
* Ability to perform basic math computations
* Have a strong work ethic and initiative to learn processes
* Required to work on uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces and in adverse weather conditions (cold, hot, humid, rain, snow, etc.)
Additional Qualifications:
* Packaging/warehouse background/experience is preferred (at least 1 year)
* Fork truck experience preferred
