We have a dry storage facility with roughly 160 boats ranging from 18ft-34ft. There is plenty of opportunity for growth. You must be comfortable working around the water and on the docks. Primarily we are busy on weekends and holidays so availability is very important on those days. We are heading into the winter time now so you also must be willing to work on special projects through the off season. As a forklift operator your primary roll is to launch and retrieve boats in a safe and timely manner. Other rolls include general help with day to day operations. For example, trash runs, general cleanliness of the property, dock upkeep, and many other various tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities: Operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, and standard forklifts. Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas according to customer's requirements. Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts and other heavy equipment. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking inventory and verifying orders. Collaborate with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Organize customers' products by type or lot numbers. Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Support continuous improvement by contributing to the ongoing efforts to improve all experiences with MainOcean. Requirements: Skills and Qualifications: 3 + years of relevant experience. Proven experience proficiently operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and processes. Ability to accurately read and interpret work orders and shipping documents. Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices. Proficient in order picking and inventory management procedures. Ability to load, unload and move materials while ensuring balance and stability. Familiarity with inventory control processes and systems. Strong focus on accuracy when handling products and completing paperwork. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly. Possess effective communication skills.
