Responsibilities
As a Dock Worker, you will load and unload freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner. Although DFL Dock Workers do not work inside a warehouse, you must maximize space when loading freight.
Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment
Properly document all freight control processes
Participate in Dayton Freight's training and improvement programs
Be available for irregular work schedules, alternating work shifts and/or assignments
Adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines contained in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual
Qualifications

Position Summary: The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift throughout the warehouse while following all applicable safety regulations.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Follow all safety, food safety, & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) rules and regulations.
Accurately complete forklift inspection sheet and clean-up assignment checklist.
Perform forklift inspection at the start of each shift.
Ability to use the Radio Frequency (RF) system to receive and stock our product or any outside vendor product using the “Movement” function of the RF system. Use the “Pick/Gather” function to pre-stage product for loads when needed.
Responsible for unloading all incoming shipments correctly and properly filling out inbound shipping reports.

Job Description
As a Utility II - Forklift Operator you will be working in the Retail Outlet Warehouse moving material throughout the Distribution Center, operating bail machines, separating and sorting merchandise and placing it in various holding areas. Utility workers must be able to adhere to work schedules and be flexible to the needs of the business. We are looking for a team player that can comprehend and maintain work standards, maintain cleanliness of the Outlet, backroom, and dock/external areas. Candidates must understand the importance of working together as a team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Loading and unloading convoy material.
Separating Salvage material.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the work areas.
Assisting drivers with deliveries and vendor pick-ups.
Possible fill in at the Donation Door as needed.
Operate a Forklift.
External Hiring Range: $13.00/hour
Retention Bonus: $500, after successfully completing 6 months of employment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous forklift experience required.
REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Candidates are expected to provide current valid Child Abuse Clearance.

About the Position
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The Forklift Operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.
Functions
Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as standard sit-down or stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker equipment.
Load, unload, and store products and/or materials
Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.
Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.
Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
Complete cycle count as required
Perform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks
Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
May perform housekeeping duties
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience. Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Position Summary: The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift throughout the warehouse while following all applicable safety regulations.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Follow all safety, food safety, & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) rules and regulations.
Accurately complete forklift inspection sheet and clean-up assignment checklist.
Perform forklift inspection at the start of each shift.
Ability to use the Radio Frequency (RF) system to receive and stock our product or any outside vendor product using the “Movement” function of the RF system. Use the “Pick/Gather” function to pre-stage product for loads when needed.
Responsible for unloading all incoming shipments correctly and properly filling out inbound shipping reports.
Responsible for loading product onto trailer for shipping to our customers using the RF system.
Accurately compare all quantities to packing list and report and damaged product to quality control.
Accurately scan product bar codes and complete receiving forms for shipping office.
Responsible for ensuring that all areas of the warehouse are kept clean and orderly.
Work in a safe manner by following all company rules and regulations as instructed during job orientation and yearly required safety training.
Identify issues and communicate them promptly to the Production Supervisor for assistance.
All other duties as assigned.
