The Terminal Operator will be a critical part of the Terminal Operations team reporting to the Terminal Manager. Primary Responsibility: Under general supervision, the Forklift Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment including, but not limited to, sit down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment. The Loader Operator will contribute to the production team to ensure goals are met safely and efficiently while conforming to company policies. Process vehicles in a safe manner to produce core & scrap products, enable the customers to pull parts, and satisfy environmental requirements. This position focuses primarily on Front Loader operation and various material handling duties. * Operation of a Front Loader, Crusher, Fork Lift or Skid Steer: Move vehicles, cores, scrap, and other material safely through the yard. We are seeking an experienced forklift operator for the 2nd shift. In this role, you will operate a propane-powered forklift to move materials around the plant and load trailers. You will also perform daily basic maintenance on the forklift, including checking oil levels and conducting basic safety checks.
