Position Summary:
This role will ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the MRF Operations team. This position is for a forklift driver with at minimum 1 year of experience. Candidate should have experience with operating and managing industrial trucks to load and upload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or storage facilities.
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience and Competencies:
1-2 years of verifiable experience.
Load, upload, move material using various types of forklifts or other power equipment.
Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
Comply with all OSHA standards.
Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
Compete daily inspection of equipment.
Pass a forklift driving test conducted on first day to include operation of equipment and inspection.
A non-expired Forklift Certification.
Strong work ethic, reliable and job tenure

Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers' needs. We are actively recruiting for Asphalt Distributor Operators for our Pennsylvania operations, out of our Clearfield, PA facility. As this is a seasonal position, we are looking for canidates to start in April/May of 2026.
Main Responsibilities
* Operate an asphalt distributor and apply specialized emulsions to roads
* Coordinate with Foreman for application rate and special instructions
* Understand the different emulsions and how to use each one safely and effectively
* Keep track of time and quantities of each project and communicate that to dispatch office
* Perform related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing extensions, and changing spray nozzles
Experience and Qualifications
* Must have a valid Class B CDL with Airbrakes and Tanker Endorsements and good driving record
* Class A CDL, Hazmat Endorsement preferred
