How Your Role Fits In

What you'll do:
Order Fulfillment: Pick and verify orders, build pallets, and ensure shipments are accurate using various types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
Safety First: Operate MHE such as forklifts and other material handling equipment safely, adhering to all safety requirements and policies
Team Collaboration: Work independently or alongside others to meet high-demand workloads with precision and efficiency
Inventory Management: Receive, store, and ship products while maintaining accurate inventory records utilizing RF scanning equipment

Working Conditions: Manufacturing environment: Open plant, cement floors, stationary machinery, moving equipment, exposure to various chemicals, solvents, glass and vinyl dust (MSDS' available upon request).
Equipment/Tools Used: Forklift, carts, pallet jacks, paperwork, pens/pencils and radio. Required personal protective equipment inclusive of but not limited to: Hearing protection, steel-toe boots, safety glasses and hard hat.
Safety: Safe work performance is required from each Associate at all times. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals.

Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of operating forklift experience
Knowledge:
* Ability to read, write and speak simple English as appropriate to a manufacturing environment
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
* Must be able to read production tags, production paperwork, safety warning labels and signs; must be able to verbally communicate with coworkers, leads and supervisor regarding the production process and safety related information.
* Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th inch and use a chart to convert it to a decimal.
* Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division calculations.
* Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, physically demonstrated or diagrammed form.
* Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in or from standardized situations.
* Ability to prioritize work tasks according to production requirements.
* Knowledge of all safety practices and procedures.
* Broad knowledge of production line positions, products and procedures.
