ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Perform daily activities for an assigned shift or within an assigned area or function.
* Adhere to specific warehouse work instructions for receiving, labeling, storing, shipping and value-add services, as required, and in accordance to DSV Air & Sea standard policies and procedures.
* Meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, quality, leadership, and customer service.
* Work with the supervisor, warehouse manager and freight forwarding teams to identify areas to improve/enhance overall service to the client.
* Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to the correct destination. Efficiently stage, stack and load the merchandise in the appropriate areas
* Efficiently move product from staging and/or unloading areas into the correct load door and the assigned trailer. Ensure that the trailer is secured and chocked prior to entering the trailer in accordance to the safety polices.
* Loads/Unloads product correctly using the appropriate handling techniques. Segregate, check and stage inbound product correctly.
* Verify the driver, trailer, and bills match the carrier and destination. Count freight with the driver and ensure all requirements are followed. Load the trailer for safe transit and ensure the driver signs all required paperwork.
* Perform all Forklift activities as required.
* Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repacking as needed

**Shift:** 2nd Shift 2:30pm-11pm

**Job Duties Include:**
· Safe operations of Fork-lift
· Sorting and arranging product on pallets (picking)
· Offload inbound material and place in proper DLOC according to assigned DLOC printed on part number label
· Replenish DLOC storage locations every shift with overflow in a FIFO manner
· Storing product or loading truck with pallets of product
· Obtain daily order sheets from supervisor
· Load order following diagram that design truck loads
· Use Fork-lift to drive pallets through ware house to loading Dock
· Shrink wrap pallets for delivery
· Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
· Ensure that cargo is identified and inspected before loading and unloading and compared to shippers.
· Ensure discrepancies are documented and handled according to proper procedure.
**Requirements:**
- 1 to 2 years of Forklift Experience
- Complete pre and post trip inspections on all dock equipment
- Be available for irregular work schedules and alternating work shifts
- Ability to work up to 6 days per week
- Ability to adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines

We are looking for full-time associates on Morning and night shifts, 7:00am-7pm or 7:00pm to 7am on a 3-2-2 rotating schedule. The positions start at $17.50 per hour with a raise at 90 days when the associate is hired into the client company.
