JOB SUMMARY:
This position supports technology development, production validation, as well as marketing and sales related activities. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs truck system functional evaluations per test specifications; documents system performance and safety issues with support from engineering development team
Represents driver point of view/voice of customer to development teams
Perform development and validation tests on the various systems led by the Chief Technology Office or Stoneridge Electronics, including but not limited to MirrorEye
Provide timely, detailed and constructive feedback about use cases and design solutions from a customer perspective
Collect data per direction from engineering development team
Participate in test plan definition
Document test results and participate in problem solving with Stoneridge personnel and partners
Represents the company and its products with professionalism
Drive commercial vehicles (up to and including class 8 tractor that includes a trailer)
Relates experience with Stoneridge products to engineering development team
Maintains inspection and safety records for all vehicles under Stoneridge management

Job Responsibilities
Must have experience handling large steel industrial materials.
Some tubing measures up to 24 feet in length, with bundles weighing approximately 3,000 pounds each.
Candidates must be able to safely work with heavy materials using appropriate equipment and follow all safety protocols.
Maintain a continuous supply of steel for the mill
Remove and stack the bundles produced from the mill in a safe and organized manner
Check with the mill operator for the required steel
Verify the sequence of the quantity and the supplier to stage with the mill operator
Review the mill orders; paying close attention to the lengths and quantity formulate a plan on where to safely stack the finished bundles
The forklift driver is responsible for keeping the steel room organized. The steel is stacked according to the tube size
DO NOT mix different tube sizes together
Any steel removed from the floop area to be returned to the steel room must be properly banded and tagged
Before moving the finished tube bundles from the mill, verify that each bundle is secure, banding is properly stapledand rust preventative has been applied (if required). These quality checks are necessary for safe stacking and proper shipping
Use extreme caution anytime bundles are elevated over the pedestrian walkway. Pedestrians always have the right of way
Inspect forklift truck prior to each shift. If there are any issues stop and report the issue to maintenance
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in environments requiring the movement, assembly, or installation of oversized or heavy components.
Familiarity with safe material handling practices and use of lifting equipment.
End of Shift Responsibilities
Stage a sufficient amount of steel at the floop area for the next shift
Properly store any steel not needed
Empty all scrap hoppers and scrap racks
Clean forklift lift of all debris
Do not leave the mill area until relieved by the next shift

SUMMARY
Associates with the title of Power Equipment Operator must demonstrate proficiency and meet all productivity and quality requirements of the following duties and responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate battery-operated and/or gas-powered equipment, (other than motorized pallet jacks), for the purpose of transporting product to and from inventory storage locations within the facility. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, Forklifts, Stock pickers, Wave Work-Assist vehicles, Sit-Down and Stand-Up Counterbalanced trucks, Reach trucks, etc.
Must follow all power equipment rules and regulations, including any regulatory agency policies, to include OSHA.
Must use all personal protective safety equipment, including lanyards and harnesses to be worn at all times when operation order/stock pickers.
Must follow all facility safety rules and regulations at all times.
Demonstrate the ability to perform all scanner functions necessary for the position, including cycle-counts, replenishment, item inquiry, inventory put away, etc.
Ensure all product is stacked neatly and safely when moved via power equipment and when stored in rack or staging locations
Maintain accuracy of all inventory movement at all times.
Inspect and perform or assist in equipment maintenance as required; report any unsafe conditions to management.
Responsible for the careful handling of all merchandise, avoiding damage, bending or tearing.
Participate in Physical Inventory and Customer Appreciation Warehouse Sale events.
Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for the work performed.
When necessary, assist in the processing of returned book fairs, by unpacking metal cases, boxes, and displays with book and non-book product, according to corporate process and procedure and meeting productivity and quality standards.
When necessary, assist in the picking and packing of customer reorders
Ensure that your work area is neat, clean, safe, and organized at all times.
Individually, and in partnership with other co-workers, perform seasonal inventory production-line resets.
When applicable, assist in the loading and unloading of trucks. The loading and unloading of trucks may or may not require the assistance of mechanical devices.
Ensure that all warehouse equipment and tools are properly utilized to increase productivity, efficiency, and safety; report any unsafe conditions, damaged equipment or injury (to self or co-worker) to your supervisor or manager immediately.
Utilize proper techniques for lifting, packing, and handling heavy objects.
Accurately and timely complete Labor Data Collection Cards to according to company standards.
Maintain attendance and punctuality as required by assigned work schedule and within company standards.
