The Builder Specialist is responsible for managing the overall timeline and budget of installation projects. The role involves planning, coordinating and overseeing various aspects of construction and logistics - including working with TopHAT managers in regards to the delivery process, ensuring safety and quality, and handling timelines and schedules. The Builder Specialist reports directly to the Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct job site previews to ensure safety, readiness, and alignment with builder schedules prior to delivery.
Collaborate with customers and TopHAT leadership during project launches to assess site readiness, safety requirements, delivery sequencing, and installation logistics.
Coordinate with the TopHAT logistics team, contracted installation teams, and builders to verify appliance orders, communicate job expectations, and ensure all delivery and installation requirements are met.
Initiate, enforce, and support installation practices, policies, and procedures, including training contract carriers and ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements.
Monitor active shipments and installations, proactively resolving issues and maintaining high customer satisfaction through timely communication and problem-solving.
Manage installation resources, including ordering, maintaining, and inventorying parts, tools, and appliance dollies on a quarterly basis.
Perform installation audits and pre-walk assignments to ensure quality and readiness.
Review and respond to property damage claims, conducting assessments and coordinating resolutions professionally.
Interact with vendor representatives and builders via phone and system messages in a timely and effective manner.
Track and evaluate job outcomes, including post-completion reviews and performance reporting to support continuous improvement.
