Responsible for managing and contacting bulk customers to validate the accuracy of the order on file at the Transportation Management System (TMS) level before carrier tender, S/T location, contact information, bulk product, and quantity to be delivered, Meter or scale unload, etc., just to name a few of the order validation steps.
Document all customer contacts according to the call script guidelines.
Manage and perform all data updates in the Transportation Management System (TMS), followed by email updates to customer service.
Work independently with or without direct supervision.
Maintain order integrity by verifying all order information.
Must be comfortable and courteous on the telephone.
Work closely with the bulk control tower team and take directions.
This role is heavy customer Service via emails, Teams chat, and phone calls.
Must be able to solve problems quickly.
This person will be working in a Transportation Management System (TMS) and MS Outlook daily to plan and execute loads, assign carriers, and track loads from pick-up to delivery.
Candidates need to be able to demonstrate they are detail-oriented and able to apply training and learning to their daily work and output.
Must be quick thinking, manage multiple priorities, efficient at follow-up, and fast acting.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Logistics Coordinator facilitates efficient and accurate tracking of inventory for all contracted Heavy Maintenance Vendors at various locations. This role is the primary contact regarding parts and materials for our Heavy Maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
* Coordination of all spare parts and material activity between PSA Airlines and its Heavy Maintenance Visit (HMV) Service Provider to support PSA aircraft in maintenance.
* Ensure all Tracked & Serialized inventory issued by HMV facility is attached to HMV aircraft for traceability.
* Facilitate and oversee all parts and materials requests from HMV Service Provider.
* Monitor all Rotable and Repairable parts/material replaced during HMV maintenance to coordinate activity with the PSA Aircraft Component Repair Manager.
* Address any shipment discrepancies from PSA Component Repair Manager; coordinate correct tracking Air Way Bill (AWB) with HMV Service Provider.
* Monitor the shipping of parts and material to and from HMV facilities.
* Provide and enter all AWB's to HMV facilities to track parts.
* Oversee procedures and activity to ensure that all parts and material have been processed correctly in the MXI computer system.
* Visit all HMV facilities domestic and international to do onsite inventory cycle counts to maintain accuracy for the PSA MXI system.
* Visit all HMV facilities domestic and international to remove and discard shelf-life parts.
* Maintain log of unserviceable cores at HMV facilities within SharePoint with disposition.
* Process unserviceable units to be sent out for repair via the CRA Department and provide AWB's.
* Process all quarantined and problem parts to make serviceable.
* Perform daily updates to all HMV service providers via their portals - CKB, QRO, IAB.
* Process new part requests on SharePoint for PSA SOR to request within MXI.
* Address and resolve any questions within SharePoint New Part Request list.
* Participate in all daily calls with each HMV facility, including the morning MTX call.
* Coordinate any HMV facility tool loan request with PSA maintenance.
* Coordinate all open PO's for parts with PSA procurement to ensure timely delivery.
* Coordinate with the PSA Service onsite Representatives (SOR) to verify MPN alternates
* Request parts in MXI and add new Manufacturer Part Number's (MPN)'s to MXI.
* Coordinate with HMV service provider to verify MPN alternates or Next Hight Assembly (NHA) for open requests.
* Coordinate with PSA Planning any Complex Assembly requests.
* Liaise with PSA SOR for engineering and fabrication of unavailable parts.
* Approve the purchase of parts from HMV Service Providers that are above cap.
* Coordinate with PSA SOR to perform rob - swaps and provide serviceable tags.
* Liaise with data entry staff on site at all HMV locations and PSA records for the prompt removal and installation of parts in the MXI system.
* Continue to explore, develop, and implement processes and procedures that will serve to facilitate, improve, and streamline the efficient and accurate tracking of PSA inventory.
* Utilize Tableau reports when necessary.
* Time management must be used when completing any project or daily task.
* Maintain relationships with Visits to all HMV Service providers, both International and domestic and provide updates of any process/policy changes.
* Maintaining current training requirements with PSA.
* Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.

Must be able to research and compute freight weights and cube measurements to satisfy various shipping methods and documentation.

Job Overview:
This position provides comprehensive knowledge in logistics and effectively support international import and export shipments. Core functions include, but are not limited to; International Logistics Management including implementing corporate strategies for application of transportation provider selection and performance management, export documentation and compliance and letters of credit.

* Understanding of Incoterms 2020. Ensure all export shipments ship using the appropriate mode of shipment and correct documentation filed with forwarders, steamship lines and that the electronic export information is filed with the bureau of census as required for export compliance.
* Manage ASN1-ASN2 (Advanced Shipping Notice 1 and 2) processes to meet revenue recognition and in-transit requirements for export shipments, including managing transportation providers.
* Work with factories, distribution centers and external shipping and transportation providers to resolve problems in these processes that would impact customer delivery or revenue recognition.
* Ensure that internal letter of credit guidelines are met while working with deadlines and requirements from the credit manager, factory and letter of credit expiry dates.
* Manage transportation providers for performance issues and rate negotiations and partner with transportation providers to find solutions for unique customer requirements.
* Resolve all vendor non-compliance issues with appropriate stakeholders
* Analyze logistics data to provide year over year process improvements and meet productivity goals
* Manage for Daily Improvement (MDI) by completing daily pareto of misses and actively lead problem solving, Opex execution.
* Support Freight Forwarder, NVOCC, and Direct Ocean Carrier Management.
* Interface with Freight Forwarders, NVOCC and direct ocean carriers to ensure their service and performance levels are meeting service requirements.
* Assist with the negotiation process for NVOCC and direct ocean carriers related services to include spot rate requests and new lane analysis.
* Coordinate transportation from Port to DC or Manufacturing site.
* Interface with 3PL, NVOCC, direct ocean carriers and preferred transportation service providers to ensure timely shipment releases, container pick up from ports to the Ingersoll Rand receiving location.
* Responsible for Import Logistics Analysis and Reporting.

Logistics:
Create weekly delivery schedule based on raw milk supplies to meet the demand of our Raw Milk Customers.
Manage daily order changes for Raw Milk Customers and/or supply fluctuations.
Coordinate with raw milk haulers to schedule delivery times and ensure on time customer deliveries.
Manage silo inventories and inbound receipts at select customers.
Monitor customers receiving schedules so that customers and haulers are maximizing assets.
Participate in an on-call rotation for weekends, holidays, and after-hours.
Data Analysis:
Maintain and monitor data base that tracks hauler data - load size, mileage, compensation, etc.
Monitor and track daily turnaround times and equipment utilization rates for each raw milk customer. Rank each customer based on performance.
Develop and maintain a data base tracking freight cost for raw milk customers.
Calculate and analyze weekly/monthly receiving credits.
Maintain Hauler Insurance Certification files ensuring haulers comply with company requirements.
Monitor and maintain Hauler Scorecard based on performance.
Monitor, reconcile and communicate payload discrepancies between haulers and customers.
Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to field reps, haulers, and other employees of the organization.
Use various mathematic formulas to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and convert units of fluid measurements.
Resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Logistics specialist job in Hickory, NC
Essential Functions
Load/ Unload all freight, including waste & hazmat.
Verify all accuracy of incoming inventory, including counts and part numbers against packing list. Ensures all necessary documents are received by the shipping and receiving office.
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Responsible for physically loading powder warehouse for all shifts. Electonically transfer powder from central warehouse to production warehouse in ERP system.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
Responsible for physical inventory counts such as powder, spare parts, etc. and ensure accurancy of all counts.
Verifies serial number list of outgoing product ready for shipment and report to Quality.
Assembles customer orders in proper containers, using proper packing supplies.
Responsible for inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Prepares shipping containers with proper shipping paperwork and banding material.
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all foot traffic.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Operates lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
Back up to Shipping and Receiving clerk, using UPS, FedEx and customers TMS shipping system.
Data entry into electronic logs, using Microsoft Excel and ERP.
Working in the Company's Quality and Safety System context, in accordance with its procedures and requirements.

Work Environment
This job operates mainly in a manufacturing environment, but can have office work also. The role routinely requires the use of Forklift, also requires standing, bending, stooping, climbing kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.
