The OpportunityMajor League Cricket is seeking a Tournament Travel & Logistics Associate to play a critical role in the delivery of a world-class tournament experience during the 2026 Cognizant Major League Cricket season. This role is essential to ensuring seamless travel, accommodation, and transportation logistics for MLC teams, match officials, MLC staff, broadcast production crews, and key stakeholders across multiple venues. Working closely with internal departments, MLC team management, and external vendors, this role will help execute complex, time-sensitive logistics in a fast-paced live sports environment. Key Responsibilities: Travel & Accommodation Coordination Lead the coordination of travel, accommodation, and ground transportation for match officials, broadcast production crews, and MLC tournament staff across all tournament venues. Assist in securing and managing relationships with airlines, hotels, and ground transportation providers to support tournament delivery. Manage flight bookings and travel arrangements to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective movement of assigned stakeholder groups. Oversee hotel reservations, rooming lists, and special requirements for match officials, broadcast personnel, and tournament staff. Manage all ground transportation logistics, including airport transfers, shuttles, and match-day movements. Provide support to MLC teams as required, assisting with travel or accommodation matters to ensure a smooth and consistent tournament experience. Proactively identify and resolve travel-related issues before and during tournament operations, escalating where necessary. Ensure all itineraries and travel plans are clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders. Tournament Logistics & Operations Support the execution of tournament logistics, including venue setup, scheduling coordination, and the movement of personnel and equipment. Work closely with broadcast, operations, and team management to accommodate last-minute changes to travel or accommodation plans. Coordinate daily transport schedules to ensure reliable, on-time movement between airports, hotels, training venues, and match venues. Track and monitor logistics-related expenses to support budget discipline and reporting. Stakeholder Coordination Act as a primary point of contact for travel and accommodation matters for match officials, broadcast production crews, and MLC tournament staff. Liaise with hotels, airlines, transportation providers, teams, and internal departments to ensure seamless coordination and clear communication. Provide timely, professional responses to stakeholder inquiries and operational issues. Post-Tournament Review & Reporting Maintain accurate records of travel, accommodation, and transportation arrangements for assigned stakeholder groups. Contribute to post-tournament reviews by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, cost management, and stakeholder experience. Support the development of best practices and documentation to strengthen future tournament delivery. Ideal Candidate: Experience 1-3 years of experience in sports travel coordination, event logistics, tournament operations, or a related field. Experience working in live sports events or large-scale event operations preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders under tight deadlines. Education Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred. Skills & Attributes Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident working with vendors, teams, officials, and internal stakeholders.
