Coordinating with U.S. Customs to support and facilitate import and export operations
Managing import scheduling, import-related documentation, and weekly import settlement processes
Communicating and coordinating with external partners such as freight forwarders, overseas vendors, customers, carriers, and shipping companies to support logistics operations
Ensuring full regulatory compliance across all international trade transactions
Processing purchase orders and overseeing FOB cost management
Maintaining shipping plans, HS codes, and country-of-origin classifications
Following up on quality claims and submitting verified supporting documentation

Key Responsibilities:
* Input accurate vehicle information into the AS400 computer using a handheld device for each vehicle received at the Auction including:
* Vehicle Identification number (VIN)
* Stock number
* Dealer identification number
* Make, model, year, mileage, color, options, etc.
* Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle received.
* Associate Tracker device to WO# and install on OBD port or strap 2nd generation tracker around steering wheel.
* Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles upon entry. Flag "no key" cars.
* Direct transporters to proper car drop zone. Report transport damage as needed.
* Take digital image of vehicle upon receipt.
* Provide proper sale identification windshield code to the person who is driving vehicle through the registration/check-in area.
* Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
* Work in cooperation with safety leadership in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
* Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e. assist on sale days driving vehicles through Auction sales lanes, etc.

Responsibilities:
Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.

Notify clients well in advance of potential late deliveries.
Making special shipping arrangements as necessary.
Build routes and reoccurring orders in TMS.
Tracking and fixing shipping errors.

Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
Monitor driver electronic logs, driver scorecards, and E-log hardware.
Cover routes if needed.
