Job Summary
The LogisticsSpecialist serves as the primary driver of revenue for the company by managing all their assigned accounts at a high level. Their primary function is building our brand by establishing a solid rapport with all their points of contact with the goal of building lasting relationships to ensure we are their provider of choice. This includes preparing and submitting bids for all available moves, maintaining regular communication to identify future needs and opportunities, along with consistent follow up to ensure satisfaction. In addition, they are responsible for maintaining current pricing and regularly communicating all relevant information for their accounts to the Director of Operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and submit bids at an acceptable profit margin for all available moves.
Follow up with point of contact for all submitted bids.
Reach out to all assigned accounts on a weekly basis via phone and email.
Handle incoming calls from accounts and carriers timely and professionally.
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of awarded moves.
Work closely with Dispatcher(s) to ensure profitability and superior completion of all moves.
Develop plans and implement strategies for maintaining accounts.
Research, set, and maintain accurate pricing to maximize profitability for the company.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the customers' needs.
Manage day-to-day client communications and relationships.
Ensure overall customer satisfaction.
Work with carriers to expand opportunities for clients.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor(s).
