Our intern will join a team of highly collaborative and cross-functional professionals who lead the industry in bicycle component products. SRAM's Customs and Logistics Intern is joining a dynamic team at SRAM. The Customs and Logistics intern will be involved in world-class shipping and compliance projects for SRAM's global network. U.S. Trade Compliance is currently a dynamic industry requiring cross-functional communication and analytical skills. Responsibilities * Develop familiarity and learn the audit process for SRAM/Velocio customs entries to comply with U.S Customs Regulations. Including: * o Prepare work for an audit * o Update Audit Logs * Develop familiarity with U.S Customs and Border Protection's Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) portal and pulling SRAM/Velocio customs activity reports. * Support with classifying SRAM materials into the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule Codes (HTS). * Support the maintenance of HTS codes in SAP system. * Support with answering internal or customs broker inquiries (SRAMLogistics email). * Develop knowledge of current and incoming U.S. Customs and Tariff Regulations at SRAM and analyze impact to SRAM/Velocio as needed. * Support SRAM's Sr. Customs Analyst in projects as needed. * Support updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for SRAM supply flows. * Perform Ad Hoc shipping quotes. * Support with bid exercise: Small Package (reverse logistics) data. Job DescriptionForklift Logistics Associate Pay: $19.50 per hour Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM A day in the life Your shift kicks off with a quick equipment check before you climb into a sit-down or stand-up lift. You'll navigate the warehouse to stage pallets, load and unload trucks, and use an RF scanner to pinpoint items and record every movement. Between moves, you'll verify counts and measurements with basic math (and calipers when needed), assist with shipping and receiving, and update inventory in the computer system. Throughout the day, you'll regularly lift up to 50 lbs and keep safety top of mind.
