Essential Functions: Schedule all outbound LTL and TL shipments in conjunction with the customers' needs and Kinter's operational requirements. Act as a liaison between vendors, purchasing, and transportation partners to coordinate all inbound freight shipments to ensure all deliveries are received on time and at the correct location. Manage importation of products and materials by working with our 3PLs and Supply Chain Solutions providers to meet service level expectations. Coordinate import and export related tasks in compliance with US Customs laws and regulations. Collaborate with team members, internal customers, and external partners to actively lead and support cross functional initiatives to drive improved overall business performance. Maintain a working relationship with FedEx, UPS, and other carriers to increase operational efficiencies, reduce response time when issues arise, keep all freight software systems up to date, etc. Submit claims for damage or loss and follow the process until the claim is finalized. Provide necessary/relevant information to the accounting department to ensure the payment process is accurate, seamless, and completed within the vendors required terms. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
