Job duties:

Job Requirements and Education:
2 years of retail logistics or general warehouse experience preferred.

Logistics Coordinators prepare mailings and coordinates shipments for transport to USPS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gathering Work Orders and creating Postal Statements, weight verifying each job and preparing mail for transit to USPS and other Logistic Companies.
Prepare Postal Statements for Drop Shipments for clearing with USPS clerk.
Coordinating Drop Shipments with Logistics Company includes creating 8125 forms to produce Bill of Ladings and completion of preparing Pallets of Mail with final paperwork.
Familiar with .Dat files
Checking all mailings to make sure Tray tags, skid placards and qualification reports are correct and in sync.
Communicating with customer service reps and accounting on an ongoing basis to get approval for mailing of projects including getting postage checks from accounting.
Compute freight or postal rates. (on occasion)
Work and communicate with USPS reps and clerks on daily basis.
Assist in other warehouse needs occasionally loading and unloading trucks and answering the door or phone.
Independently, proactively assists in weighing and wrapping postal pallets in preparation for Post Office.
Work with quality control and production employees on daily basis.
Prepare end-of-day manifest for accounting.
Move mailings by forklift, hand jacks or power jacks to the shipping dock and direct its loading.
