Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Coordinator located in the Fairfax, VA area. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with project management personnel to assist in the day-to-day operations of the project.
Daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare invoice packages accurately and on time
• Review and approve vendor invoices against agreed estimates
• Track and proactively escalate internally any additional or unplanned costs
• Maintain complete documentation packages for each shipment
• Follow up and trace shipments by air, ocean and surface
• Timely submit status updates via Electronic System - EDI
• Maintain structured financial folders and records
• Providing support for project manager
Qualifications:
Four-year college degree required
Some experience in Logistics industry
Strong customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Word & Excel

The ProSidian Team shall provide training to The Agency Personnel, Task Force Officers, The Agency's Emergency Support Function (ESF-13), Other Government Agencies (OGAs), and foreign host nation counterparts. The SMEs shall be familiar with Department of State (DoS) Smith Training and High Threat Security Overseas Seminar (HTSOS), Serving Aboard for Families & Employees (SAFE), Foreign Affairs Counter Threat (FACT), and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Incident Management System (NIMS). Personnel Recovery Training/LogisticsSpecialist shall also be familiar with and proficient in the usage and management of information in the DEALS System.
The Personnel Recovery Training/LogisticsSpecialist shall be responsible for gathering, writing, editing, and proofing all content and information for TR requirements. This position is critical to maintaining the highest standard of excellence as it relates to assets, plans, and materials available to TR training requirements and missions. The Training/LogisticsSpecialist shall assist in the development of a full range of materials in support of operational capabilities and interoperability with OGAs. This shall include development and implementation of various forms of unclassified and classified communications, associated support equipment, equipment employment, etc. Personnel Recovery Training/LogisticsSpecialist shall communicate and develop relationships with equipment providers' SMEs to solicit updated information and best practices.
Qualifications
At no time will ProSidian personnel be supervised by the Fed. Gov Agency personnel. However, Government assistance is available to provide technical and policy guidance through the assigned representatives. The ProSidian Team Member's and other ProSidian employees will have a fixed 8 hour day ranging from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Telework is not authorized for this contract. Extended hours of work may be required during the week or on weekends to meet priorities. All documents submitted to and related to project accomplishment must be developed on electronic media shall be compatible with the requisite version of Microsoft Word, Excel, Auto Cad, or other software, as required.
