General Purpose

Transport material to other departments or storerooms using hand trucks, fork lifts, or industrial vehicles.
Verify stock numbers and voltage types and Equipment to job site.
Transport material and equipment to job site.
Take oil samples from transformers and other electrical devices for PCB testing, marks PCB test results on oil filled equipment.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, you will frequently be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Requirements

* Assist with the cradle-to-grave integrated life cycle logistics nuclear support of assigned systems and subsystems in accordance with public law, directives, and other written guidance.
* Participate in the development and coordination of assessment criteria, indicators, and procedures for measuring system/equipment performance, and sustainment effectiveness on a continuing basis, and for major decision points in the lifecycle of system/equipment.
* Develop and coordinate Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), roadmaps, milestones, and other acquisition and sustainment documents
* Interact with internal and external officials and/or customers diplomatically, convincingly, professionally, and promote effective working relationships.
* Effectively communicate with Nuclear Enterprise personnel from the Departments of Energy and Defense, Air Force Air Staff, MAJCOM Staff, AFNWC Staff/Wings/Divisions, field level users and their respective support agencies.
* Effectively provide briefings and keep program participants informed on program plans and status.
* Ensure outcomes of special projects result in positive impact(s) on the organization and/or improves quality.
* Prepare reports on time, ensuring they are of high quality to an audience of Air Force senior leaders; including recommendations, meaningful program information, written summaries and results from synthesized data and/or metric analysis.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:
* A professional degree at the bachelor's level from an accredited institution is desired. An advanced degree, such as a Masters or a Ph is preferred.
* Expert knowledge of nuclear system life cycle concepts, theories and principles of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, development, design and execution sufficient to coordinate and integrate functions into a total, well-structured and viable nuclear program.
* Familiarity with laws, policies, regulations and precedents applicable to ILS planning.
* Ability to draft, coordinate and interpret nuclear logistics and related nuclear enterprise policies.

Position Summary
The COBS Logistics Coordinator (LC) is an entry-level support position in the Southwest Program (SWP) of Moab, Utah or the Rocky Mountain Program (RMP) of Leadville, Colorado. It is a seasonal role starting in May and ending in late August to early September depending on whether you are in Leadville or Moab . The LC works under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager and the Associate Program Director (APD) of Logistics and is responsible for coordinating course-related needs for students and staff such as transportation, gear, and food for our primarily wilderness-based courses. LCs also provide support to students, Instructors, and Course Directors before, during, and after course with planning and packing, supporting evacuations, and course debrief paperwork. LCs need to be collaborative, flexible, and hardworking with a commitment to ensuring a safe and quality educational experience for students and staff, which is essential to a successful COBS course experience. An LC must have the ability to problem solve, along with the capacity to develop a vision for logistical operations and be able to implement systems to support that vision.
Requirements
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Delivers the Outward Bound Mission and Educational Framework through logistics support and providing educational opportunities for students about character development, leadership, and service.
Oversees logistical systems that include food planning for up to 40 people; tracking, managing and repairing gear; and providing valuable feedback to continue improving course quality and the student experience.
Functions as a driver for course events, where operating large vehicles and driving on 4x4 roads is a common function of the job. Additional trailer training and long-distance driving with a trailer may also be provided.
