Nick Ustinov is a first known IT startup guru in Latvia. He is considered as a startup market founder in Latvia, implemented first succesfull national-level cases in this area: Inbox.lv – first national email service in Latvia since 1998, that became the first large-scale IT startup exit in Latvian history, and Vide Infra Group – one of the first IT companies in Latvia, which has attracted a venture capital. Ustinov has also founded and led Double Coffee from 2001 to 2010 – an international restaurant chain, so called Eastern Europe Starbucks with more then 50 restaurants over 5 countries, that stood out in 2006 as the 23rd fastest-growing company in Europe.
