Job Title: Academic Ultrasound Faculty

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at Riverside Community Hospital as an Academic Ultrasound Faculty member.
The Academic Ultrasound Faculty member will play a critical role in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows in the use of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) across a variety of specialties and clinical settings. This individual will be responsible for developing, leading, and delivering ultrasound curriculum, advancing ultrasound education and research, and actively participating in clinical care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of ultrasound curricula for both learners in undergraduate and graduate medical education programs
Collaborate on the instruction of medical students and residents from emergency medicine, family medicine, anesthesia, surgery, and internal medicine in POCUS education, including both didactic sessions and during their ultrasound rotations.
Assist in the implementation and improvement of the Ultrasound Fellowship and participate in the instruction and mentorship of the Ultrasound fellow.
Conduct clinical and educational research in the field of ultrasound, with opportunities to present and publish findings.
Mentor and support the academic development of trainees in their scholarly pursuits related to ultrasound.
Provide ongoing POCUS education for physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
Provide quality assurance feedback on both patient care and educational POCUS exams.
Review and revise policies and procedures relevant to POCUS, including internal credentialing and remediation of emergency physicians, trainees, and faculty at Riverside Community Hospital (RCH).
Participate in ultrasound-related quality improvement projects within the clinical setting to enhance patient care outcomes.
Participate in the recruitment and selection of trainees interested in ultrasound-focused learning.
Maintain the online image archival system, ultrasound machines, and POCUS training equipment.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices in education and clinical care.
Assist in the development of a hospital-wide, multidisciplinary POCUS program.
Participate in ACGME-required scholarly activities, core faculty committee work, conference attendance, and other faculty participation requirements.
Required Experience and Competencies
MD or DO degree with board certification in Emergency Medicine
Fellowship training in an EUFAC-accredited fellowship program or Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography (AEMUS) Focused Practice Designation
Strong commitment to education with proven experience teaching medical students, residents, and/or fellows.
Evidence of scholarly activity, including publications and presentations, in the field of ultrasound is highly desirable.
Proficient in ultrasound-guided procedures, diagnostic applications, and advanced imaging techniques.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience with curriculum development, ultrasound administration, and education research preferred.
Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in California.

An academic teaching hospital with an established in-house 3-year EM Residency Program affiliated with the University of Riverside.
The facility is a Level II Trauma Center with an 80-bed Emergency Department that sees 100,000+ annual ED patient visits and has a 20% admit rate.
The hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a Riverside County designated STEMI Receiving Center, and is equipped with a new helistop to provide high-speed access to the hospital.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a deeply technical builder. You will work directly with early hardware, guide critical design tradeoffs, and build a high-caliber engineering team capable of executing in a complex, safety-critical aerospace environment.
Responsibilities
Own and define the overall technical architecture of Float's airship platform
Lead the design, prototyping, and validation of flight-critical systems
Drive system-level trade studies across structures, propulsion, energy, controls, and manufacturing
Ensure designs balance performance, safety, manufacturability, and scalability
Guide early prototype development, testing, and iteration with hands-on technical involvement
Build, mentor, and lead a world-class engineering team
Establish engineering standards, documentation, and review processes appropriate for an early-stage aerospace program
Collaborate closely with company leadership on technical roadmap and execution strategy
Interface selectively with partners, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders as needed

Qualifications
MS or PHD in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Deep experience in aerospace, systems engineering, or complex hardware platforms
Proven track record taking hardware systems from concept through prototype and test
Strong system-level thinking and engineering judgment across multiple disciplines
Experience leading and scaling small, high-ownership engineering teams
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete data
Bias toward execution, validation, and building real hardware
Nice to Have
Experience with experimental, unconventional, or large-scale aerospace platforms
Background in energy, propulsion, avionics, or safety-critical systems
Familiarity with manufacturing-scale hardware development
Exposure to certification-aware or regulated design environments
Prior experience at an aerospace startup, skunkworks program, or founding team

Staff Counsel (Ontario, Visalia, Sacramento)

Under the direction of the Supervising Counsel and Chief Counsel, provide legal counsel/representation to CCPOA members. Attorney assignments will include the opportunity to represent peace officers in all aspects of labor relations and employment actions with public agencies in California.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to gain broad experience with all types of labor and employment matters related to public safety, including:
Administrative hearings before state agencies
PERB
Litigating claims in state and federal courts
Union business/relations
Representing peace officers for Internal Affairs interviews, skelly hearings and State Personnel Board hearings
Representation during critical incident investigations concerning officer involved shootings and in-custody deaths
Fast-paced and exciting work.
Essential Functions:
Act as legal counsel as required.
Maintain appropriate confidentiality of all matters learned in the course of client representation.
Maintain professional responsibility requirements consistent with California State Bar rules.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time while driving, flying, or performing legal tasks.
Interact professionally with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, court/agency personnel, CCPOA members, and CCPOA staff.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to travel on short notice, frequently on nights or weekends, to various locations and prisons throughout California.
Ability and willingness to travel on short notice, sometimes at night or weekends, to various locations and prisons throughout Northern California. Most trips/representational matters are not overnight. Great opportunity for an attorney who would prefer not to sit behind a desk every day.
Duties:
Prepare pleadings and legal materials for trials, administrative hearings (including investigatory interviews and Skelly hearings), arbitrations and other legal proceedings.
Identify and interview witnesses.
Assemble and evaluate evidence.
Keep supervisor informed of the progress and status of caseload.
Inform the Executive Legal Assistant or other assigned Legal Assistant of scheduled dates (such as hearings, court dates, arbitrations, scheduled leave, etc.) and changes to those dates to update the master calendar.
Maintain a personal calendar of all due dates, court appearances, investigatory interviews, and all scheduled appointments and personal absences (this is besides the master calendar maintained by the administrative staff).
Keep clients and, when required, the appropriate Board of Director, informed of the status and progress of the case.
Handle intake calls as necessary.
Draft and analyze legislative measures and regulations.
Perform legal research.
Draft legal opinions as assigned.
Maintain knowledge of relevant and current statutory/regulatory changes, appellate, administrative, and arbitration decisions and developments in the field of public sector labor law through self-study, CLE, and continual review of relevant publications (including online).
Timely inform support staff which files should be "tickled" to ensure time limits are met.
Draft and process grievances to their conclusion.
Participate, analyze, and make recommendations regarding arbitration and legal matters consistent with CCPOA SOP and Bylaws. Assist with collective bargaining as assigned.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree, from an accredited university; admission to the California State Bar or bar pending; working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Westlaw/Lexis; valid California State Drivers' License; ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a CDCR Contractor Identification Card to gain access to CDCR institutions and facilities.

Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies. The technician ensures all instruments and supplies are properly processed and available for patient care in accordance with established procedures and infection control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment using autoclaves and other sterilization methods.
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage; report or replace defective items.
Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets according to procedural requirements.
Maintain accurate inventory of sterile and non-sterile supplies.
Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols and regulatory standards
Monitor sterilization indicators and document sterilization cycles and loads.
Handle and store sterile items in compliance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to meet surgical case needs and turnaround times.
Participate in departmental quality assurance and continuing education programs.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Certification:
CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) through HSPA or
CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) through CBSPD preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2 year of recent sterile processing experience in a hospital or surgical center preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and surgical instrumentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
