Cleans and sanitizes general areas such as stairwells, elevators, restrooms and non-patient care areas. Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms. Unpacks, stocks, covers, and delivers linen carts. Folds and stocks scrubs into dispensing machines and organizes shelving storage area. Distributes and tracks clean linens to user department, maintains stock levels on nursing units. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Minimum one year of Housekeeping experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Able to read, write and speak in English. Able to read and follow written and oral instructions. Able to distinguish colors and hear sufficiently in order to safely complete job duties. Takes initiative to resolve patient issues to the best of your ability and when required, refer patients to other members of the Patient Access or Financial Counseling team, as well as other departments within the health system as appropriate.
