Position Overview
The Senior HR Specialist (Senior People Services Advisor) is senior member of the Regional People Services team and is primarily responsible for delivery of all Tier 2 employee life-cycle processes and general HR services for their allocated countries. This position partners closely with RPS leadership, People Consulting, Compensation & Benefits, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Vendors, etc. to execute all HR Operations activities and deliver a great employee experience, ensuring the HR processes are executed proficiently for compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency. Moreover, the Senior HR Advisor acts as a local subject matter expert in the areas of HR Operations, Benefits Administration, HR Compliance, Statutory Reporting and Vendor Management.
Responsibilities
Be point of contact for HR Cases routing from Tier 1 requiring action, investigation, engagement with employees or stakeholders to resolve Deliver all Employee Lifecycle HR services for employees adhering to our Service CommitmentAssist in local employee communications Support in ensuring payroll inputs accuracy, reliability, confidentiality, timeliness and completeness (key stakeholder to the Payroll team) Ensure all local files (and HR Systems) are accurately maintained so that employee data can be easily referenced for employee queries and reporting and audit requirements - including the collection of all data for employee payroll and benefits registering and processing, including absences, paid leaves, meal vouchers, etc. in accordance with legislation and company practice Support involvement with the payroll functions to ensure accurate recording of payroll information and reporting (to both employees, the business, and external suppliers, and local government) - liaising with local social administration as required Ensure HR reporting is compliant with country required statutory and regulatory reporting and is done on a timely basis Manage country audits and partner with auditors to provide necessary information, data & documentation as part of the audit - partner with RPS Manager(s) & auditors in identifying & mitigating potential gaps & risks Partner and support in regional and global PPL programs/projects by advising country requirements, and involvement in User Acceptance TestingOwn and oversee of up-to-date SOPs, process flows, guidelines, and internal documentation, ensuring quality assurance Work with third-party vendors to monitor SLA achievements and employee experience for all local administration of benefits and providing feedback & suggestions to COE for improvement as needed Work closely with the People Services Manager and the People Consulting Team to ensure a smooth transition on local issues and ensure clarity on when we should hand over or escalate Be first point of contact for all local government agencies/labor authorities for any HR enquires or data request Function as senior member of the local Regional People Services team, available to offer guidance, advice or support in escalations to COEs in the EMEA People Services manager's absence Be SME & escalation point on all HR ProcessesCan act as Operational representative for the RPS EMEA team on M&A projects
Minimum Qualifications
Fluency in German language Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR OperationsBusiness Assistant or Office Management (or similar) Dual Apprenticeship with a focus on HR, or Bachelor's Degree level Solid experience working in a HR Operations role where service excellence, continuous improvement and customer experience were valued Familiarity of PPL functions and processes across at least one functional area of Human Resources which may include Operations, Benefits, Compliance or PayrollForward thinking, proactive, driven, and resourceful team player who is also able to work independently under high pressure situations High levels of discretion, confidentiality, and ability to exercise sound judgement (demonstrate critical thinking) and decision making Strong capability to build trusted relationships, and manage stakeholders across a matrixed environment Ability to interpret complex situations/documents, follow through and attention to detail Passionate about identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, providing recommendations on suggested approaches High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Excellent technical skills (Excel, Word,), as well as experience of HR systems such as Workday and supporting tools such as Service Now
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a multi-national environment, and fast-moving services businesses Experience in a Shared Service model or a mix of decentralized and centralized HR Operating models
