About the role

Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on their properties and to do this they send out independent contractors.
The purpose of the property inspection is:
To verify property occupancy.
To report on the general condition of the property using a mobile application.
Most inspections are exterior only. About 10% require interior photos after the property has gone vacant.
We contract with inspectors at a county level. This means that you would be responsible to complete all inspections in your county. In some cases, you will split the county with another inspector if there is enough volume for two inspectors.

Most common type of inspection should only take 5-6 minutes.
Complete the inspection within 4 days after it is assigned.
Report general property conditions and make a determination of occupancy based on industry standards.

What you need to become a Maintenance Technician:
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of training and experience in machine repair and facilities maintenance (technical education may count towards experience)
Basic knowledge and ability to troubleshoot PLCs
Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
Experience using LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures
Moderate mathematical skills to calculate data and solve practical problems
Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot, repair, and adjust complex mechanical equipment, including the use of tools, machines, and vehicles
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
Knowledge of job-required PPE and appropriate usage
