Job Details George's Department Store - Anadarko, OK $10.00 - $11.00 Hourly RetailDescription The primary responsibility of the Cashier/Clerk is to provide customer service, obtain payment for items purchased by scanning into register to total customer purchases, handle cash and credit card transactions, count money or change for deposit slips, and accurately balance cash drawer and cash register with all purchase transactions. Maintain store appearance and integrity. Maintaining inventory records and accuracy of merchandise in store. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Insure all purchases are properly rang into the cash register and all money properly accounted for. 2. Scan items purchased subtracting any value of any discounts, coupons, and accept payments of cash, personal check, credit and debit cards. 3. Maintain inventory and perform general merchandising duties including pricing, stocking, replenishing stock and supplies, straightening, and cleaning or other related tasks necessary to maintain store appearance. 4.
