    Per Diem Responsible for providing safe, courteous transportation service for our residents to and from special events, medical appointments and field trips. Proactively communicate with residents, employees, concierge and the management team to ensure necessary travel requirements are met. Must be hands-on with residents getting into and out of van to ensure their safety. * Coordinate each trip with the Reception/Security Staff to achieve the most efficient delivery and pick up of residents. * Maintain the Log for mileage, times and list of residents transported * Maintaining accurate and current safety documentation for safety checks to ensure the van/vehicle is clean and well maintained. Communicate maintenance or mechanical problems for resolution. Report potentially unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Completes schedules, staffing assignments, billing and payroll in a timely manner and responds to all home care inquires timely. Prioritize and schedule open shifts; find coverage for all time off requests and any last-minute cancellation. Communicates scheduling changes to residents and staff. Utilizes an automated scheduling system to maintain a calendar of services. Hires, trains, directs and supervises department personnel, including interviewing, overseeing the orientation of new employees, conducting performance reviews, setting objectives and priorities and implementing corrective action in a timely manner. Routinely engages with residents to exceed their expectation with consistency of scheduling and satisfaction with caregivers. Communicates resident issues and needs, reviews daily communication records to ensure prompt resolution of problems to director and others as appropriate Meets all competency requirements, including SAMMS and educational, training requirements.
