About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Counsel to join our in-house legal team who wishes to make a career of providing pragmatic legal advice to our global institutional asset management business.
This position will be a key contributor to the Legal and Compliance Department with respect to a wide variety of legal and business matters and will provide day-to-day support to the senior lawyers in the group. Duties will include providing support to the General Counsel's office of senior lawyers for their negotiation of investment management agreements and private fund subscription agreements, legal research, fund formation, marketing and advertising review, assisting with regulatory audits, general corporate work, and, under the supervision of the Assistant General Counsels, participating in special projects, such as new product development.

Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of senior lawyers:
Provide legal analysis to senior lawyers in connection with their advice on day-to-day investment management activities, such as investment management agreements, private fund formation and investment documents, and general corporate/governance matters
Assist in supporting all legal aspects of our separate account, private fund, SMA/wrap, group trust, and sub-advisory relationships
Provide initial interpretations of statutes, rules and policies applicable to the business, and work closely with colleagues in the General Counsel's office to meet the firm's business objectives within the local regulatory environment

The team is responsible for the firm's investment activities across the global securitized universe, encompassing Agency MBS, Non-Agency Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities, Asset-Backed Securities and CLOs. The team is also responsible for the investment management of several dedicated securitized asset strategies.
The Portfolio Analyst / Trading Assistant will operate under the direction of the portfolio management and trading teams to take a leading role in the implementation of the recommended securitized strategies across hundreds of separate accounts and commingled vehicles managed by multiple product teams.
This individual will report jointly to the Head of Mortgage and Structured Finance and the Head of Mortgage and Structured Finance Trading.
About the Team
The team is responsible for the firm's research and investment activities across the global securitized universe, of $46.8 bn in assets as of June 30th, 2025. The portfolio encompasses Agency MBS/CMBS pass-thrus and derivatives, Non-Agency RMBS, CMBS, ABS, and CLOs. The team has a 10+ year track record generating strong risk-adjusted returns across four dedicated strategies spanning from pure agency MBS to deep credit structured finance.
Job Responsibilities
Effectively communicate and assure proper and timely implementation of buy/sell orders from the Mortgage and Structured Finance portfolio managers and traders to the team of specialists who oversee the Order Management System (Charles River).
Become the main person responsible for the on-going implementation of a series of tools designed to streamline the implementation of custom mortgage strategies across hundreds of separate accounts (Model Portfolio Implementation tools). Project management experience is a plus.
In exercising these functions, the Portfolio Analyst / Trading Assistant will provide the critical link and support to these functional teams:
Technology, for the completion and enhancements of the MPI tools
Product teams & mortgage traders, to monitor the effectiveness of the MPI tools and assist in identifying the causes of unexpected dispersion
Mortgage portfolio managers, to timely communicate and assure implementation of buy/sell orders to the team of Specialists
Specialists and Compliance, to timely address compliance alerts and assist in progressively minimizing compliance alerts that require manual intervention
Trading Assistant duties include security set-up in various systems, daily reconciliation and resolution of trade issues.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Run risk/attribution analysis on accounts managed by the Mortgage and Structured Finance team and assist with the preparation of materials for various internal and external meetings
Assist with cash management tracking and hedging across multiple accounts and currencies

About the Role The Quantitative Associate reports to the Co-Director of the Applied Integrated Quant (Applied IQ) team and assists in providing quantitative support to fundamentally driven investment processes and portfolio management teams within the firm.
In response to the ever-increasing complexity of capital markets and Loomis' investment philosophy to a disciplined investment process, the Applied IQ team has taken the initiative to build quantitative investment tools to support and enhance the firm's fundamental research capabilities and portfolio management capabilities. The position requires knowledge of the various credit (and some equity) strategies managed at the firm, and the underlying investment processes utilized to select stocks/issuers and build portfolios. The Quantitative Associate will act as a key liaison between the Applied IQ team and various fundamental investment product teams, conducting research to support bottom-up and some top-down investment processes in a systematic/quantitative fashion.
The Associate will play a key role in early-stage model development and day-to-day operations, which entails structuring the core components of the quantitative models, building technology infrastructure to facilitate daily production, designing various reporting tools for model risk management and performance attribution.

THE ROLE
Using discretion and judgment, monitors security pricing matters for the mutual funds in the daily pricing process such as the coordination of fair value, price tolerance exception reviews and price source change instructions; prepares and reviews daily and monthly reports related to the ASC 820 process for financial reporting; and compiles and reviews materials to be presented to the Valuation Committee and Fund Boards. Perform, assist with, or oversee the performance of, daily pricing functions including coordination of price tolerance exception reviews and oversight of ASC 820 reporting to ensure proper categorization of securities.
Coordinate and confirm any security price source changes between MFS Trading and the custodian banks to ensure appropriate approvals have been obtained.
Prepare and review monthly ASC 820 disclosure templates to ensure proper categorization of market values of securities to be used in the preparation of the funds' financial reports.
Prepare and review 20+ reports to be used in the materials presented to the Valuation Committee and the Funds' Boards of Directors and liaise with other departments when it comes to compiling the Valuation Committee materials that are being provided from other departments outside of Fund Treasury
Research and resolve nightly pricing issues with the custodian banks including missing prices, price tolerance exceptions, and pricing vendor coverage issues.
Communicate fair value prices to the custodians, maintain lists of fair valued securities, ensure correct pricing on designated securities, and review all team correspondences to custodian banks to ensure accuracy.
Monitors the significant event triggers and communicates internally, and to the custodian banks whether fair value will be implemented based on trigger levels.
Serve as the moderator for the daily 4:15 fair value call where one-off fair values and foreign equity fair value are discussed.
Be an active participant in the Custodian bi-weekly calls where open pricing issues, and current initiatives are discussed.
Coordinate, or assist with the coordination of, periodic due diligence meetings with ~20 pricing vendors, including compiling agendas and assisting with meeting documentation to be presented to the Valuation Committee and Fund Boards.
Review and confirm the nightly swing pricing determination with the applicable custodians.
Conduct reviews of Valuation & Oversight Specialist materials
Originate and update procedures for assigned tasks as required.
Perform other related ad-hoc assignments as required.

Bachelor's degree preferably with a concentration in accounting or other related financial discipline or equivalent in on-the-job work experience in the mutual fund or securities industry.
2-5+ years' experience in fund accounting, or administrative and operational areas of an investment advisor or securities firm, or servicing mutual funds at an auditing firm or custodian bank required. Preferred, 2-5+ years' experience specifically in mutual fund pricing and security valuation.
Experience working in a diverse environment where production, controls, and daily deadlines are required.

THE ROLE

Your opportunity
* Prepare, review, and assist Sales with US mutual fund distribution agreements and alternative fund distribution agreements for clients investing through third-party intermediary firms, NSCC contracts, institutional client agreements, and agreements for clients investing in separately managed accounts.

Compensation information
The base salary range for this position is $90,000-100,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will be posted through November 2025.

THE ROLE
As a senior member of the Global Enablement & Strategic Projects team, this role designs, delivers, and manages cross-functional initiatives that support the business goals of the organization. The incumbent leads the development and execution of enablement programs, oversees strategic projects, and partners with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Responsibilities include managing the full lifecycle of projects, developing training curricula, and fostering an environment of open communication and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Manage & Deliver Enablement Programs: Implement customized enablement and training programs for global distribution, leveraging technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Seismic).
Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee strategic, Enablement projects from inception to completion, including scope, budget, resource allocation, and communication plans.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal client groups, business divisions, and departments globally.
Training & Curriculum Development: Create role-based curricula, manage the development of instructional materials, and deliver live and virtual training sessions to diverse audiences.
Strategic Analysis & Reporting: Analyze project and program effectiveness, create metrics to measure success, and report progress/issues to sponsors and steering committees.
Resource & Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and resource needs, escalate issues, gaps and needs.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
6-8+ years of experience in financial services, project management, and/or enablement/training.
Experience managing strategic, cross-functional projects and developing/delivering training programs.
Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all organizational levels.
Proficiency with Salesforce, Seismic, and project management tools.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
Deep understanding of Salesforce, Seismic and Tableau.
Experience developing on-demand training content and Enablement programs.

Base Salary Range: $107,000.00 - $154,000.00 This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.

Loomis Sayles is committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $260,000 USD. Your starting salary will be based on your experience, skills, qualifications and local benchmarking. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award, which is based on individual and company performance.
