What You'll Do:

Completes appropriate paperwork for machine
Delivers packaging supplies to slitters and keeps them stocked with supplies
Cuts cores, end disks and bellywrap
Assists in roll-wrap as needed
Set-up work area for the oncoming shift
Assist operator with two-person tasks on the machines (ie; loading rolls of paper, threading the paper through the machine, etc)
Housekeeping/6s duties
Physical requirements include standing/walking for up to 12 hours, lifting, kneeling, reaching out and grasping
Regular, consistent attendance

Required Qualifications:

Previous Finishing Operator experience, including the ability to set up and operate bindery equipment, is required. Knowledge of cutting, mailing, and folding is highly desired.

Working Conditions

CNC Operator - 2nd or 3rd Shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check with the designated lead person on machine assignment and job assignment.
Discuss the machine's performance with current operators from the preceding shift and any possible difficulties encountered during the shift.
Produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications and within acceptable production requirements.
Unload and package parts according to EIMCo standards and customer requirements.
Complete accurate daily records (date, time, quantities of parts ran, and scrap) for every job worked on, on Shop Travelers and in the ERP system.
Follow instructions from all EIMCo documentation, including Shop Traveler, Inspection Sheets, and blueprints.
Inform quality control, shift supervisor/ lead person of any problems or concerns with parts.
Accept responsibility for the quality of products/services provided and perform all required inspections under the EIMCo Quality Manual.
Perform required preventive maintenance on equipment, watch and listen for abnormal conditions, and immediately report any concerns to maintenance and/or shift supervisor/lead.
Maintain the assigned work area clean and orderly and comply with all 5S procedures.
Safely conduct all tasks and behaviors and comply with all EIMCO Safety Policies, including the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, as outlined in the EIMCo Safety Manual.
Maintain all required documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Mechanical background and machine operating experience are helpful
A willingness to learn and be trained on the EIMCo manufacturing process

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
