    The Role The Corporate Communications Leader will be responsible for enhancing and protecting the company's reputation, shaping our communications strategy internally and externally, and supporting key stakeholders including executives, media, and industry influencers. Internal Communications & Culture Design and execute internal communications strategies that engage employees globally, reinforce culture and support change initiatives. Ensure that employees are informed, aligned and inspired by the firm's direction, brand commitments and performance. Partner with HCM and other functions to embed communications into all major internal initiatives and transformations. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Thought Leadership Lead cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Investor Relations, Legal/Compliance, Product, and Client Solutions to ensure consistency, alignment and leverage of communications.. Evaluate emerging communications channels and technologies (digital, social media, podcasts, webinars) and make recommendations for how Lord Abbett can innovate in its communications approach. You'll need to have: 10 + years of progressive corporate communications experience, ideally including leadership experience within financial services, asset management or professional services. Proven track record of developing and executing strategic communications for a complex, multi-stakeholder, global organization. Exceptional writing, storytelling and executive communications skills; experience crafting messages for senior executives and public-facing communications. Must be excellent at communicating in PowerPoint. Strong media relations experience, including establishing relationships with top-tier business press, managing issues/crisis communications, and supporting reputation management. Experience building and leading teams, managing budgets, navigating vendor/agency relationships and driving cross-functional alignment. Highly strategic, intellectually curious and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and evolving priorities. Demonstrated ability to measure and report on communications effectiveness and to continuously refine processes and approaches.
