SUMMARY
The Mental Health Specialist provides age specific basic physical care and addresses spiritual and psychosocial needs of patients including cultural values, religious belief and barriers to learning intervention through the implementation of appropriate therapeutic approaches under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Promotes a therapeutic environment and participates in the total program according to the philosophy, goals and function of the hospital and the Department of Behavioral Health. Maintains treatment activities of the department in compliance with standards of practice, department and hospital policies and procedures, and regulatory standards: HFAP, IDPH, and the Illinois Mental Health Code. The Mental Health Specialist primary responsibilities includes the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, facilitate groups, crisis intervention and activity of daily living.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors unit milieu and maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, family members and staff.
Modifies treatment approach according to developmental/psychological needs of the patient to ensure patient and unit safety.
Observes patients' behaviors, informs charge nurse of changes and implements interventions as directed by the nurse.
Documents patient's behaviors, affect and verbalization along with staff interventional and patient response to interventions in progress notes as assigned.
Completes patient rounds timely in accordance with unit requirements and accurately documents patient's observations on the Patients Observation Record.
Assist with admission process.
Assist RN with admission of patients and completes all admission forms as assigned.
Thoroughly completes personal belonging search, contraband removal and body map.
Documents findings in patient record and shares outcome with the R.N.
Assist patient with discharge and supervises collection of all patient belongings.
Provides continuous eyesight monitoring of patients in restraints and maintain their privacy, safety, and physical needs.
Accurately identifies strengths and weaknesses of the patient and his/her social, cultural, environmental and spiritual support network.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
Three years of experience working with a psychiatric patient population

SUMMARY
Staff pharmacists fill orders for parenteral and enteral medications, monitor patient drug therapies, and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interprets medication orders (verbal and written) and transcribes to computerized patient medication profiles accurately. Maintains accurate, complete patient medication profiles.
Compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals, including sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition preparations accurately.
Issues controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records as required by law.
Monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, drug-laboratory test interactions, allergies, appropriateness of drug and dose, and therapeutic duplications.
Assists with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per organizational protocol.
Reviews/interprets culture and susceptibility data for antibiotic appropriateness and recommends changes, as needed.
Reads, extracts, and interprets information in patient charts accurately
Detects and reports suspected adverse drug reactions and medication errors accurately and in a timely manner.
Sustains the formulary by minimizing nonformulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic substitution protocols, and promoting rational drug therapy selection.
Provides clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners. Suggests appropriate, cost-effective therapeutic alternatives to medical staff, as needed.
Provides accurate, adequate, and timely drug information to the professional staff.
Provides drug information to patients and their families.

SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Recovery Support Specialist to join our . Reporting to the Manager, Substance Use Disorder Services, the Certified Recovery Support Specialist works alongside certified counselors and nurses to provide support and interventions to help manage clients in need of treatment services in the Substance Use Disorder Programs. This includes monitoring of patients/clients in all areas of the building, participating in educational didactic groups, following up with patient's/client's aftercare plan and follow up needs post discharge.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate recovery education groups and docwnent in the EMR for each patient in attendance regarding case management needs.
Provide support services to the patients/clients via an appropriate rapport.
Implements Contingency Management in accordance with project protocols.
Use client-centered approaches to recovery planning, including working with the patients/clients and counselors to help reach goals and continued after care success.
Meet with clients at least twice a week to ensure the continued appropriateness of the Recovery Plan.
Link clients to recovery support services consistent with best practice standards and organization policies.
Accurately accounts for the whereabouts of each client by conducting rounding and docwnenting per unit guidelines
Educate patients on the Recovery process, including recovery lifestyle, support groups, support network.
Collaborate with clients to engage family members in recovery planning, where applicable
Make follow up and after care calls related to recovery plans and document in the EMR.
Providing support to individuals who are in treatment programs, including helping them with daily tasks while in treatment.
Preparing materials such as brochures and pamphlets that explain addiction and recovery treatments to patients and their families.
Helping individuals set goals for their recovery programs, monitoring their progress, and identifying any obstacles that may be impeding progress.
Coaching individuals through their recovery process by helping them to identify their triggers for substance abuse and methods for coping with stress without turning to drugs or alcohol.
Arranging for housing, recovery homes. transportation, and other necessities for patients who are in treatment.
Providing emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times in recovery
Helping patients schedule appointments with physicians, therapists, court, probation, parole offices, Task Workers, manage care insurance providers, and other outside resources.

SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our Med/Surg Department. Reporting to the Director, Patient Care Services, the Wound Care Nurse coordinates treatment to provide comprehensive wound assessments and plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for patients throughout the organization. Knowledgeable of surgical procedures and postoperative course of patients undergoing bowel surgery

SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the House Administrator, the Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring adequate and effective staffing coverage across all clinical and non-clinical departments. This role maintains daily staffing schedules, aligns staffing with census and acuity needs, supports timekeeping accuracy, and serves as a key liaison between Nursing Leadership, HRR, and team leaders to ensure continuity of operations and compliance with established staffing policies, union rules (if applicable), and regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Staffing & Scheduling
Develop, update, and manage schedules for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), allied health professionals, and support departments based on census, acuity, skill mix, and departmental needs
Monitor call-offs, tardiness, and unplanned absences and coordinate coverage with available internal staff or agency partners
Maintain real-time awareness of unit activity, including admissions, discharges, 1:1 sitter needs, and emergent staff changes
Coordinate float staff assignments while ensuring competency and licensure alignment
Ensure staffing ratios comply with federal, state, and facility-specific requirements.
Maintain float pools and PRN/agency assignments when needed.
Administrative & Compliance Duties
Maintain accurate employee records, schedules, time-off requests, and attendance logs.

SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated Substance User Disorder Counselor to join our Behavioral Health Department . Reporting to the Manager, Substance Use Disorder Services, you will provide individual services to adult, substance-using men and women; assists clients in building recovery resources; and develops individual Recovery Plans that help clients enhance self-efficacy, maintain abstinence in treatment, and continue recovery post-treatment. Responsible for all assessments, treatment, discharge planning; including securing wrap around services, and case management activities for assigned clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete initial screenings and assessments for each patient in all levels of care in the organization with a history of or current substance use and documents in the electronic medical record
Facilitates education groups, didactic seminars, and lead discussion groups; document in the electronic medical record for each patient
Work with clients to develop a Treatment Plan that addresses their comprehensive needs; documents and updates in the electronic medical record; Manage, track, and update individual recovery plans
Use client-centered approaches to recovery planning
Meet with clients at least once a week to ensure implementation of the Treatment Plan; revise treatment plan accordingly based on client's progress and/or needs; updates in electronic medical record
Assist clients in accessing other services, both on and off site, to meet their additional needs additional needs met by client and team member; provide case management services to ensure these needs are met
Link clients to recovery support services consistent with best practice standards and organization policy
Participates in weekly ASAM staffing with multi-disciplinary team when needed
Demonstrates awareness of regulatory requirements, including but not limited to SUPR, HFAP, IDPH and CMS
Collaborate with clients to engage family members in recovery planning
Execute crisis intervention strategies in areas of threatened suicide or violence.
Submit records to law enforcement, courts, employers, or government entities with required releases in a timely manner
Have strong documentation skills; this position requires extensive documentation of required activities; strong data entry skills are also required.
Attend all monthly staff meetings unless excused by immediate supervisor in advance.
Adhere to organizations time and attendance policies.
Completes a minimum of 20 CEU's or contact hours annually to maintain any existing certification

Prepares a daily stock out sheet and informs that staff of shortages, backorders, and recalls when necessary.

Helping patients schedule appointments with physicians, therapists, court, probation, parole offices, Task Workers, manage care insurance providers, and other outside resources.
Able to build strong relationships with Drug court, Probation offices, Parole offices, Task Workers, Manage Care Coordinators etc.
