Cons of working at Los Alamos National Laboratory

While the scientists/engineers conducting programmatic work in thier field of discipline range from pretty decent to best on earth, blatantly incompetent engineers/scientists are made mid- or low-level managers in charge of veteran technologists to prevent further damage because they can't be fired.
