This position will provide vital production and manufacturing support for critical areas of operations. The responsibilities of this position cover a broad range of transactional activities that are crucial for manufacturing accountability, security, shipping, tracking, quality and successful delivery of product to a broad customer base. **Production Control Specialist 2 ($69,500 - $110,300)** As a Manufacturing Production Scheduler and Planner, you will be responsible for managing the production schedule, including tracking associated manufacturing costs, from customer initiation through delivery of finished components. This will include providing manufacturing lead times based on current workload, tracking of incoming materials, issuing travelers to the shop floor, tracking all in-process work, assisting with managing classified inventory, and other associated scheduling functions to support an on-time delivery of finished components. The engineer will report to the lead engineer with close integration with the scientific staff for program with both internal and external stakeholders. Performance of job responsibilities will require working in controlled hazardous environments that may include radiation generating devices, radioactive materials, high explosives, and other hazardous materials.
