What Your Job Will Be Like: We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer to focus on the operational application of systems engineering within our team. **What You Will Do** The 201 MHz High-Power RF (HPRF) team at LANSCE is seeking an Engineered Systems Technician for the High Powered Radio Frequency (HPRF) team. The AOT division maintains, operates, and upgrades all accelerator systems used at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) complex. These consist of two 750-keV Cockcroft-Walton-based injector systems (H+ and H- systems), a 201.25-MHz drift-tube linear accelerator (LINAC) utilizing high-power diacrode tubes, an 805-MHz coupled cavity LINAC utilizing high-power klystrons as the primary power source, a proton storage ring, and roughly a kilometer of beam transport lines that deliver beam to the five independent research programs. Vehicle Ground Concepts Department Description The Vehicle and Ground Concepts Department (VGCD) in EED provides space vehicle and ground system preliminary/conceptual design; trade and architecture analysis, modeling, process development and leadership expertise; and tool development in support of conceptual design activities across the space enterprise. As a member of VGCD, you will be designing innovative ground segment solutions to meet the most pressing mission needs of our US Space Force, Intelligence Community, NASA, NOAA, and commercial/international customers. **What You Will Do** We are seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the cybersecurity program for information system boundaries accredited within Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E) platform. The Special Security IT and Cyber Operations group (SSO-3) is an integral part of the Sensitive and Special Operations (SSO) Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), focusing on implementation of IT and network technologies for high security environments. The SSO Division is responsible for the operation of special security facilities at LANL and remote sites, enabling cutting-edge work in Emerging Threats, Energy Security, and Nuclear Threats and Deterrence.
