ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Handle incoming products in the warehouse in a safe and timely manner, fills orders, stocks racks, keeps the facility clean and rotates stock.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Warehouse and Operations: Operates pallet jacks (electric and manual) and forklift in a safe manner. Comply with all safety requirements such as inspection reports and prompt notification of equipment issues. Unload trucks using pallet jacks. Tag incoming products according to category. Verify accurate or tagged items notify supervisors of quality or accuracy concerns, Inspect and sort product's Advise Supervisors of food safety or chemical concerns., Palletize products according to established safety protocols ; notify supervisors of quality or accuracy concerns. Works in freezer and refrigerated rooms as needed (Cooler/Freezer).
QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older.
Must be literate in English in order to read and understand work documents.
Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (electric and manual) in a safe manner.
Ability to understand bills of lading, receiving documents, inventory documents, product order forms, and any other documents relevant to the department.
Good communication skills.
Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs throughout the shift.
Must be able to handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight deadline requirements.
Forklift experience and/or forklift certification.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The position of the Custodian will perform general cleaning and maintenance duties throughout large facilities. This includes detailed cleaning of gleaning rooms, warehouse aisles, conference rooms, offices, break areas, restrooms, and shared spaces. Identifies and reports sanitation or safety hazards and alerts appropriate personnel of any suspicious activity or individuals. Collects and returns misplaced items to the lost and found. Performs outdoor cleaning tasks such as washing stairways, patios, and other exterior structures with hoses, sweeping sidewalks, and maintaining drinking fountains.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Sanitation and Custodial Services: Performs cleaning services in a large commercial facility using proper equipment and supplies, and follows procedures for safe use and operation. Cleans and details offices and conference rooms. Empties trash containers; dusts and polishes fixtures, tables and chairs; vacuums carpets, cleans walls, arranges furniture, and cleans window blinds. Cleans restrooms, using correct chemicals on all surfaces. Dusts and wipes-down all fixtures, fills all dispensers, empties trash containers, and mops and deodorizes floors. Cleans common areas, including hallways and stairwells. Removes trash from all trash containers, and lines containers with clean plastic bags. Cleans lunch rooms, including tables and microwaves. Sweeps and mops floors, fills dispensers, and empties trash containers. Cleans and maintains custodial equipment to ensure proper operation and safe condition.
Customer Service: Maintains quality of work and customer satisfaction. Responds to customer requests according to established procedures, or refers to a supervisor. Assists with preparation of conference rooms by preparing serving areas, coffee, water, etc. as needed. Works effectively with other staff members at all levels of responsibility within the Food Bank. Maintains good safety and security habits in or around the work area. Assists in resolving any discrepancies. Elevates concerns to the supervisor immediately. Performs other such duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Project Management: Responsible for overseeing and managing HR projects and initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and achieve organizational goals.
Compliance Enforcement : Tasked with ensuring that the organization complies with relevant employment laws, collective bargaining agreement, local and state regulations, and internal policies through audits, training, and policy development.
Systems Administration: Managing and optimizing HR systems and processes, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting system users to meet organizational needs efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of HR Administrative or Supervisory experience within a non-profit or distribution environment preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The position of IOC Cycle Counter will be responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. Duties also include miscellaneous stores/stockroom activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues. The IOC Cycle Counter reports to and receives supervision from the Inventory Control Manager.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Inventory Management: Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis. Maintain inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs. Track and report non-conforming product. Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner. Document damaged product.
Material Handling: Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory. Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weigh and mark product displaying remaining product left. Breakdown boxes and pallets as necessary.
Quality Assurance: Verify code dates are within Food Bank guidelines. Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision. Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies. Recommend process improvements to eliminate discrepancies. Conform to all quality and safety procedures.
Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other staff members at all levels of responsibility within the Food Bank. Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed. Assist in transfers to and from production area. Assist with Production conversions.
Safety and Compliance: Be able to be in freezer and refrigerated temperatures. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines. Maintain neat, clean, and orderly warehouse appearance. Operate pallet jack and other warehouse equipment safely. Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The position of Helpdesk Support Technician will troubleshoot and solve application issues and respond to end-user calls and e-mails. This position will provide excellent customer service and communication skills to assist users and answer questions at various end-user skill levels.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
End-User Assistance & Troubleshooting: Log all incidents and maintain the help desk ticketing system. Handle inbound calls and ensure customer satisfaction through the entire transaction. Respond to end-user calls and e-mails. Assist with the setup of Desktop/Laptop accounts. Install and/or maintain printers, copiers, and other office equipment. Account for internal office equipment assigned to users. Update cell phone accounts.
On-call/after-hours support may be required when necessary to perform high-risk or planned downtime of company systems for upgrades and maintenance. Scheduling is based on staffing. May be scheduled to work Saturdays, nights, or be on-call as a regular part of the job.
Systems Maintenance & Monitoring: Perform and monitor system backup and maintenance procedures under the supervision of the Systems Manager. Monitor the completion of automated system processes. QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
The Agency Relations Supervisor holds a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient operations of the Agency Relations department, primarily by directly supervising coordinators and specialists. Responsibilities encompass ensuring seamless workflow, enforcing adherence to policies and procedures, and maintaining high-quality work output from team members. Act as a liaison both internally and externally, representing the department, making recommendations for policy enhancements, and aiding in the implementation of new procedures.
Additionally, this role involves maintaining accurate databases, ensuring compliance with various regulatory policies such as those from the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Feeding America, and TEFAP/USDA, providing technical assistance to agencies, managing customer service, preparing reports, attending meetings and events, and conducting on-site agency monitoring throughout the greater Los Angeles County.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Agency Relation Liaison and Support: Acts as a liaison with applying agencies concerning details of participation in Food Bank services. Provides customer service to agencies and assists with conflict resolution regarding food pick-ups, ordering, forms, and other paperwork. Provides in-house and on-site technical assistance to prospective and participating agencies, including: Storage and distribution of food picked up from the Food Bank. Proper maintenance of food distribution and food recipient records. Proper adherence to food recipient qualifying requirements as mandated by federal, state, and Food Bank guidelines. Represents the department, internally and externally, as needed.
Internal Process Maintenance: Updates and maintains pantry list on the LARFB website, referring to agency agreements and DynamicsNAV for accuracy. Updates and maintains the needed information for Agency Express in DynamicsNAV. Runs weekly reports and maintains the current agency/subsite list. Ensures the Agency Relations department and affiliated agencies are compliant with Food Bank, Feeding America, and TEFAP/USDA policies and procedures. Provides information for internal and external data requests. Prepares monthly activity and monitoring reports, including tracking of agency participation and other reports as required. Updates the Agency Relations Manual. Oversees the technical addition of and termination of agencies in the Navision database and other databases.
Team Supervision & Development: Oversees the performance of Agency Relations Coordinators and Specialists, offering essential training, constructive feedback, and guidance as needed. Acts as the point of contact for the team regarding Monitor Report Assignments and Scheduling. Supervises and oversees the Agency Relations Department, ensuring smooth workflow and consistent application of policies, procedures, and practices, including but not limited to scheduling and coordination of staff assignments. Ensures consistent work product and results are obtained successfully from each team member; works with the manager to train and develop team members; may make recommendations for disciplinary action as needed. Travels to various sites throughout Los Angeles County to monitor prospective and participating agencies according to established guidelines. As directed by supervisors, assists/attends departmental activities such as the New Agency Orientations, the Annual All-Agencies Conference, and other meetings. Assists in administrative functions as required. Duties and responsibilities are subject to change based on business needs
QUALIFICATIONS
Must work well with little supervision and lead a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Production Coordinator oversees work groups to ensure the production of food kits and boxes in the Food Rescue Center (FRC), Sorting Room, and other Designated Production Rooms, as assigned. The TEFAP Coordinator serves as a vital link between the Food Bank and participating agencies within The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), integrating the responsibilities of the Agency Relations Coordinator and assisting the TEFAP Specialist. This role provides exceptional customer service to prospective and current agencies, overseeing their evaluation, enrollment, and orientation while ensuring compliance with TEFAP standards. In addition to facilitating weekly food deliveries in collaboration with the Internal Operations Center and the Operations team, the TEFAP Coordinator addresses logistical challenges and coordinates with internal Food Bank departments to streamline operations. They maintain accurate TEFAP records, assist with audits, and report to the Agency Relations Manager and higher-level directors, ensuring adherence to the program's policies and procedures. This multifaceted role is critical in enhancing the effectiveness of TEFAP, ensuring that the community's needs are met efficiently and effectively.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Compliance & Program Monitoring: Enroll qualified partner agencies in the TEFAP program and ensure compliance with Food Bank and CDSS policies. Implement and maintain Civil Rights training for all TEFAP sites, tracking training certificates and checklists. Assist with creating and updating the agency TEFAP manual. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Quality Control (QC) Order Clerk (Freezer/Cooler) involves significant work in the freezer and cooler environments. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Inventory and Order Management: Remove any damaged or expired items to maintain the highest level of quality. Serves as customer service liaison with all registered agencies for placement of orders. Enters orders received (data entry) and/or prepares invoices based on agency orders using Navision. Handles all duties relative to customer service by handling phone calls, providing agency or general Food Bank information with regard to products available, delivery or pick-up date scheduling, and providing service to agency representatives at IOC desk/window. Maintains current stock information of all commodities within WMS (Navision). Handles special program (CSFP, CACFP, MFM, etc.) invoicing and related reporting. Volunteer Engagement Coordinator
SUPERVISOR: Volunteer Svcs. & Data Analyst Manager
STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt
PAY RANGE: $21.00 - $25.00 Hourly

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator provides timely support services to the Volunteer Department and Food Bank Staff. Assist with the recruitment, evaluation, and orientation of existing and new volunteers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Volunteer Relations: Recruit, schedule, and coordinate individual and group volunteers to support the Food Bank's programs and operations. Lead, train, orient, and supervise volunteers at on-site events across both volunteer facilities and off-site events such as drive-through, pop-up, and walk-up food distributions. Build strong relationships with volunteers. Provide consistent, excellent customer service to motivate volunteers to continue engaging with the Food Bank by ensuring that they have a positive experience. Maintain a volunteer management system/ database to track and report volunteer activities, such as hours completed, most recent shift attended, name of project or program, etc. Conduct and/or arrange for volunteer orientation and training. Engage in volunteer management best practices. Responsible for the Volunteer Recognition Program. Consistent engagement with volunteers to express appreciation and build rapport. Update and maintain an accurate count of individuals and groups on our Volunteer Schedule. Communicate the schedule to the volunteer team and internal teams (Operations, Programs, and Development). Collaborate with volunteer team and internal teams (Operations, Programs, and Development). Assess volunteer needs across our programs and make recommendations for change. Respond to telephone, voicemail, written, and e-mail inquiries.
Community Partnership & Outreach: Attend recruiting events within the community and perform community outreach to increase volunteer participation. Identify and evaluate qualified volunteers to take on volunteer leadership roles. Develop new engagement and recruitment strategies for volunteers, including virtual opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma required; Prefer at least 2 years' College-level course work completed.
Experience in volunteer recruitment or event management desired.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and self-starter mentality.
Great public speaking, oral and written skills.
Excellent customer service and engagement skills with the public
Able to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
Proficient in basic computer applications such as Excel and Google Workspace (i.e. sheets, docs)
Demonstrated capability to conduct one's self in a calm, courteous, and professional demeanor when dealing with the public and/or with difficult situations during all interactions.
Must be resourceful and possess good analytical skills with the ability to think creatively to solve problems.
Ability to identify events in need of volunteers and be proactive with recruitment and engagement
Ability to work productively in an environment with frequent interruption.
Ability to properly handle confidential information.
Work effectively and collaboratively with others towards common goals. Presents a professional appearance and demeanor.
Communicate accurately, honestly, supportively and in a timely manner with department and interdepartmental team members.
Demonstrate strong planning, organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Flexible to occasionally work early-morning and evening hours. Flexible to commute to various volunteer locations per departmental needs.
Willingness to adjust hours to accommodate the needs of the job.
Ability to work well with a diverse group of staff and volunteers.
Regularly walk volunteers to different locations around the Food Bank throughout the day.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to both carry and lift 30 to 40 pounds.
Bilingual, English/Spanish or other languages preferred, but not required.
