Responsible for cleaning the entire CRUSH Division as directed by Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and/or Supervisors. This includes all site grounds and all major processing areas.
Monitors plant work areas to ensure they are kept clean and free from safety hazards which require regular bending and lifting

This position is responsible for defining and executing the NAM category strategy for chemicals, packaging and other supplies, and for defining and executing the sourcing of those supplies following established purchasing policies and procedures, aiming to optimize total cost, price, delivery, and terms.

Overall Purpose and Objective of Position
The primary purpose of the job is the management of plant utilities, including steam boilers, air compressors, nitrogen generators, wells, and fire systems. The Utilities Supervisor also manages the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and is responsible for maintaining appropriate chemical raw material inventories for the boiler/WWTP.

Manages daily performance of the Boiler and WWTP team to achieve or exceed company objectives.
Keeps track of Boiler, and WWTP supplies and chemicals and places requisitions as required.

Collects, records and analyzes WWTP and Utilities data to optimize efficiencies and product quality
Serves as the Management Representative for the BQ9000 Quality program.
Notifies the Refinery Manager of potential safety hazards, equipment failures, operational inconsistencies and process/employee incidents.
Reports any WWTP/Utilities equipment issues to maintenance staff. Participate in develop and oversee a preventive maintenance schedule within area. Coordinate with maintenance technicians for planned maintenance activities. Ensure minimal disruption to production during maintenance.

Overall Purpose and Objective of Position
This position maintains and repairs equipment for a soybean Crushing and Refining plant. Heavy lifting of manufacturing materials and products is required. Get fit tested and use half/full-face respirators. Personal protective equipment will be worn in compliance with Company standards and government regulations. Primary function is to ensure quality products are produced in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with established production schedules.

Accountable for the Safety, production, and Quality of the shift team.

Maintains proper coverage by managing production staffing schedules.
Coordinates production start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers.
Responds to production issues or alarms and leads investigations as necessary.

Actively stays informed on the operations and operator accountability within the following areas: Truck/rail meal loadout, truck/rail receiving, grade and scale operations, boiler operations, wastewater treatment plant, packaging operations and maintenance (if applicable).

Serves as the liaison between the plant superintendents and the production staff.
Reports any manufacturing equipment issues to maintenance staff.

Working Conditions
Interior office work is in a typical climate-controlled office environment. Frequent visits to industrial operations areas are necessary with exposure to variety of temperatures and prevailing weather conditions. This position serves the assistant commercial lead of a greenfield soybean processing plant in Ohio. This role will be critical in developing and maintaining effective relationships with the local farm community, feed buyers and logistics providers including truck carriers and both short-line and Class 1 railroads. Role will be expected to foster a professional and collaborative atmosphere between the commercial and industry management of the facility
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Defines and executes the grains & oilseeds origination strategy from the local farm & commercial supply base
Engages with broader team to map out & execute carry strategy to maximize storage value
Develops and fosters commercial relationships with suppliers & customers to expand market opportunities
Coordinates with soybean meal and hull marketers to buy grain in areas that maximize backhaul opportunities.
Communicates commercial priorities on commodity receiving and load out with operations group
Maintains daily communication, organizes logistical services, and assists with accounting issues with suppliers.
Communicates regularly with US soybean team to origination strategy and pricing targets.

This position ensures all effluents discharged from the facility meets required regulatory and company standards by operating wastewater treatment equipment and coordinating with production teams. Operate wastewater treatment plant equipment in accordance with approved procedures and best practices.
Respond to equipment alarms or malfunctions, investigate causes, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct routine inspection rounds and collect water samples from multiple locations for laboratory analysis.
Maintain accurate daily records, logs, and documentation of plant operations.
Record laboratory test results and prepare required reports.
Troubleshoot day-to-day process or equipment issues and recommend or implement improvements.
Support stormwater management through regular inspections, sampling, and reporting activities.
