POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cross Country and Track & Field Head Coach is responsible to the Director of Athletics. The position is Full-Time and does offer benefits, as specified in the handbook. The coach will be responsible for all aspects of establishing and maintaining a quality and track and field and cross country program upholding the mission and ideals of Hannibal-LaGrange University.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsibilities include all aspects of the program related to successful coaching, recruiting (includes meeting roster goal), retention, budgeting, scheduling, promotions, fundraising, and mentoring along with any other administrative duties assigned by the Athletic Director.
* Must maintain proper certification to drive HLGU vehicles such as bus which requires a commercial driver's license (CDL).
* Head coach will be responsible for supervising the Asst. coach and providing oversight as necessary.
* Act as a Campus Security Authority (CSA)
* Additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director such as a small teaching load or other needs within the department.
