The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of plumbing and life safety systems in commercial or mission-critical environments and is skilled in field coordination and subcontractor oversight. Key Responsibilities: Field Supervision & Execution Direct the daily activities of subcontractors responsible for installing plumbing, sanitary, domestic water, storm drainage, and fire protection systems. Ensure compliance with design specifications, project documents, applicable codes (IPC, NFPA, local AHJ), and safety standards. Manage equipment placement, pipe routing, valve installation, fixture mounting, and fire suppression systems (wet, dry, pre-action). Schedule Management & Coordination Develop and manage 3-week lookahead schedules for plumbing and fire protection scopes. Quality Control & Compliance Conduct field inspections and QA/QC checks to verify correct installation, system integrity, labeling, and proper support. Support documentation for commissioning, testing, and system signoff (e.g., hydrostatic testing, fire alarm tie-ins). Safety Leadership Promote a strong jobsite safety culture in coordination with EHS staff.
