The Loveland Police Department offers extensive training for individuals hired as Police Officers. Training can take between 6 to 12 months from the date of hire. Police Officers hired by the Loveland Police Department are required to attend a 6-week pre-service and a 4-month field training program. Recruit Police Officers are required to attend those training programs as well as a 4-month Police academy. During those training programs, vacations and additional time off may not be granted due to the training schedule, instructor availability, and attendance requirements.

OUR POSITION
Patrol the City of Loveland to detect and/or deter illegal activities in order to preserve and protect the safety and security of persons and property. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintain the position of ORC (Operator In Responsible Charge) for the WTP facility.
Oversee that all State and EPA regulations and permits are in compliance in regard to the Water Treatment Plant.
Manage parameters, flows and equipment.

The City of Fort Collins has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst II, Applications Software to support the Utilities Department. This role maintains a balanced focus on Maximo Asset Management, approximately 50 percent, and generalist application support, approximately 50 percent, across a diverse portfolio of Utilities systems. The position is critical to ensuring reliable asset management, operational continuity, and data-informed decision-making for Utilities, including Light and Power, Water, and related operational areas.
The Analyst II provides day-to-day operational support for the Maximo Asset Management system, including configuration, integration, reporting, and system enhancements. In addition, the role serves as a versatile applications generalist, supporting legacy and enterprise applications, integrations, reporting solutions, and data flows used throughout Utilities.
This position partners closely with product owners and other business stakeholders to define system requirements, perform gap analysis on Commercial Off-the-Shelf solutions, and design practical and secure technology options that align with operational needs and constraints. The Analyst II implements and supports application enhancements through code updates, APIs, data integrations, and reporting solutions. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting system and data integrity issues, supporting system upgrades and user acceptance testing, and developing clear technical and process documentation.
The role contributes to LEAN process improvement initiatives, supports enterprise reporting tools, maintains application servers, and serves as a technical liaison to vendors. The Analyst II ensures application solutions are reliable, scalable, and user-focused across the organization.

* Participate in new software system projects providing technical support and consultation.
* Perform gap analysis and recommendations on Commercial Off-the-Shelf software products.
* Analyze software system enhancement requests and diagnose incidents to create solutions.
* Implement solutions through source and object code updates, APIs, and data feeds.
* Analyze database table schema and data values to resolve data integrity issues.
* System Test product upgrades and support customers in User Acceptance Testing.
* Develop system and process documentation suitable for business partner and IT audiences.
* Analyze manual and automated processes and evaluate for LEAN process improvement.
* Consult and support business partners in the use of enterprise report writers.
* Maintain the application servers necessary for City critical functions.

Summary: Under administrative supervision of the fitness coordinator, this position is responsible for creating and guiding individuals or small groups through workout programs tailored to each client to help them achieve their short and long-term fitness and wellness goals. Must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities in a safe and enjoyable environment consistent with the stated values of the City of Fort Collins and the Recreation department.

* Creates safe and effective workout programs and guides individual clients or groups of clients, up to four, through the exercise routines for 30-minute or hour-long sessions only at recreation facilities.
* Stays within the scope of practice based on type of certifications held determined by the fitness industry.
* Must be able to establish a rapport with clients via professionalism and ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and over email. Listening to client's goals & needs, providing a fun, positive, motivating and safe atmosphere, and using appropriate language and conversations.
* Expected to communicate with supervisor in person, on the phone and over email as needed; reads weekly staff update emails, consistently checks email for new client forms, contacts new clients by phone, text and email within 48-72 hours upon receiving form.
* Responsible for scheduling sessions with clients and expected to be prepared for each session, beginning & ending each one on time. Communicate with clients if a session needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
* Completes and documents initial interviews, appropriate assessments and paperwork for each client; keeps all documentation in a secure location.
* Programs are appropriate for each client; specific to their goals, fitness level & abilities and includes variety of exercises & proper progression/regression. Provides modifications for injury prevention.
* Educates and enforces weight room & safety rules and proper use of exercise equipment to clients/patrons of facility. Must be able to explain and demonstrate proper form, body alignment, and modifications of various exercises and basic anatomy principles.
* Monitors clients throughout the session and corrects form, provides verbal cues & safety cues and provides proper spotting.
* Required to verify that a session or package has been purchased and keep records of client sessions, programs, progress and receipts.
* Always conducts self in a professional manner in accordance with City of Fort Collins and Recreation policies and procedures. May need to provide customer service to other patrons by answering fitness and facility related questions and pass on questions, concerns, and feedback to supervisor.
* Required to clock in before training session and wear City of Fort Collins provided trainer shirt when training clients and follow dress and appearance policies.
* May be asked to lead weight room orientation classes to youth and adults at the facilities.
* Attends all mandatory fitness staff meetings as needed and helps maintain cleanliness and organization of weight rooms and equipment. Cleans and returns all equipment used during sessions.
* Maintains current Personal Trainer certification at trainers' expense and keeps current on latest research and trends in your training or specialization. Maintains an understanding and knowledge of exercise science, nutrition, and wellness within the scope of your certification and training.
* May need to provide First Aid to patrons or clients in facilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position is not responsible for the supervision of employees.
